He opened the gate through the back to hide Leon's car in since it was used as a getaway vehicle after stopping Kevin from making a grave mistake. Inside the cook house, Leon suggested calling the hospitals to see if Kevin is okay. Franklin states he's going to call both Jerome and Peaches and have them dispose of the car. Leon asked Franklin if he thinks Kevin would be alright. Franklin, still hesitant, lied and made a false statement to Leon about shooting Kevin in the leg. Franklin then grabs the phone to make the call and assures Leon that he'll be fine, even though, he knows that's not the case.
Matt[]
Still a hostage to the Colombians, Matt is forced at gunpoint to snort a line of coke. One of their ladies, Carly, tells Matt that the hour is up and he is too take another hit. Avi and his boys bust open the door with the guns drawn and Carly turns her gun on them as well. Avi asked what they have going. Carly states it's a game, and Matt is to keeping snorting on an hourly basis or he gets a bullet to the head. Diego and Danilo enter the room demanding to know what is going on. Avi introduces himself while Matt is still having side effects from the amount of cocaine he's been force fed. He demands their names and they refuse to provide them. Avi then compared them to a bunch of Lebanese pimps. They were quickly offended and Diego demanded Carly to fork over the gun. One of Avi's boys has his gun in the back of her head and Avi warned her not to move. Diego then threaten her and told her she will be fed to the roosters if she didn't give him his gun. Matt then asked them not to kill her and states the Teddy is taking care of the problem and will have the money shortly. Avi noticed Matt's behavior and asked Diego and Danilo what they did to him. They stated they force fed him cocaine for the past two days straight and are amazed that he's still alive. They even brag about the cocaine they brought in. Avi then notices the cocaine on the dining room table and tastes it. He realized they were the Colombian and asked if Teddy and Matt owed them money as well. The Colombians stated they do, how they were supposed to be in business together, but kept cancelling the shipments. Avi then calms the tension with Diego and Danilo, knowing he shares something in common with them both.
Franklin[]
At the cook house, Franklin is fixing himself some water in a mason jar. Jerome and Louie are there as well. Jerome made it known he would have done the same thing to anyone who betrayed the Family like that. Franklin stated that Kevin thought what he was doing was right. Louie then asked if anyone saw what happened. Leon stated it was broad daylight at Acuña Park, a heavily Hispanic area and they were the only people that could be identified. Louie worries they could be talking to Kevin at the hospital, assuming he's still alive. Jerome states that Kevin may be a Judas for the Family, but not a rat. Louie reminds him that he gave up the recipe regardless of what happens is South Central. Franklin then drank some water and stated it might not matter what he says and brings up a woman running after them identifying herself as DEA. Jerome and Louie realize now that there will be some serious heat and states they need to get rid of the getaway car just in case they pinged the plates. Franklin states that Peaches is already taking care of it. Leon is wanting someone to call and see if Kevin is alright. Louie then lays her foot down and states she wants to make sure Franklin and Leon are OK then they would worry about Kevin. Franklin takes another sip of water.
Lucia[]
Lucia is still in the vehicle handcuffed to the car and sees the park as a crime scene where Lorena is talking with Detectives Stern and Avilés. Lorena then returns to the car and demands the names of the shooters. Lucia claimed it wasn't part of the deal, and Lorena reminds her the deal was she provide information. Lorena demands the names and threatens to toss the immunity agreement. Lucia is once again silent and Lorena made her decision at that point. Lucia stops her and tells her she only knows the names of the shooter.
Franklin[]
Franklin and Leon are still hiding out at the cook house with the windows covered in newspaper. Leon is peeking through one of the windows. Franklin tells him to stay away from the windows but Leon states that he's worried about Wanda being at his place alone and tied up. Franklin reminds him that Jerome will check on her. Leon did ask Franklin why he never told them the truth about Vic and Delroy's killer. Franklin stated that he knew Kevin would go off the reservation. Leon doesn't accept and made it known to Franklin he should have been straight with them. Franklin then made it a point that Kevin doesn't listen, which is why they're hiding out in the cook house, especially since he made an attempt on someone's life. Leon then stated that he should have told Kevin who killed and things might go differently. He then asked Franklin what would've happened if it was him that was killed like that. Franklin then pointed Vic and Delroy were morons for selling in Mexican territory. He then stated that sending one of his people after a high profile Los Monarcas member would enact a war in South Central. Leon then made it known he would have stuck with his homies in the end. Franklin pointed out to Leon that is why he is not in charge. Things get heated between the two as Leon states that Kevin may have been right about Franklin running things because now they are hiding out in the cook house. Franklin once more reminds Leon to stay away from the windows and they go in separate rooms.
Cissy[]
Cissy is in the middle of making a sign just as Alton returns home from stapling up fliers about the house. Cissy then asks Alton if they're crazy for giving away the house Franklin helped pay off. Alton states no. Cissy did point out how he'd been homeless for a while and knows what it means to not have a roof over his head. She then brought up how she found a one bedroom apartment that could use a paint job and showed Alton the ad in the newspaper. There's a knock at the door and Cissy answers. It's Detectives Stern and Avilés and want to speak to Cissy about Franklin.
Andre[]
After Stern and Avilés finish their inquiry at Cissy's place, Andre waves them over, and flashes his badge to them with Melody watching from the porch. He asked if there was an investigation into Franklin Saint and stated he's heard rumors about him that weren't good.
Matt[]
Avi and the Colombian are having a blast and throwing a little party with lines of coke to snort. Matt, however, doesn't seem to be having fun as he's is reeling from some of the side effects. There is even a competition between Danilo and Yuda on who can disassemble and reassemble their gun the fastest and fire a shot in the air and Yuda wins. While everyone seems to be having fun, there is a knock at the door and Matt hears it. He alerts the Israelis and Colombians of LAPD outside and Avi tells him to answer them as if it's his house, which Matt does, while high on coke. Matt introduces himself as 'the owner' or claims it to be his brothers, and the police tell him they received a noise complaint from one of the neighbors. They even asked if he's throwing a party. Matt states he is and brought a few friends over while showing his cocaine side effects to the police. The cops then ask if he is under the influence of an illegal substance. Matt lies to them. When the cops state they will have to take a look inside, he refuses them entry. The cops then give Matt an option to either step aside or be arrested for obstruction, and once again, Matt refuses them entry. One of the officers then turns Matt around and handcuffs him, while the Israelis and the Colombian prepare for a possible shootout. Teddy then pulls up and notices the police officers arrest Matt. Teddy then identified himself as the owner of the house and asked what was going on. One of the cops asked Teddy if he knew who they were arresting. He told them Matt was his brother. He think brings up Detective William Han and claims to be a close friend of his. Teddy states he is from the State Department and Han is his LAPD liaison and offers to make a call to his office. One of the officers states they'll radio in to confirm Teddy's story and takes Teddy's ID. As Teddy approaches the house, Matt asks for the handcuffs to be removed. The female cop tells them to wait be the door. Teddy checks on Matt, who is coked up to no avail.
Lorena[]
At the DEA safehouse, Tony informs Lorena that they were instructed by the Operations Division Chief in Washington D.C. to shut down the operation and walk away. Lorena is beside herself and asks if he knows why. Tony could not provide an answer nor was he given one. He then suggested to Lorena if she wanted to fight it, she should grab the phone and call them. To ease Lorena's mind off of the hard work they were about to throw away, Tony informed her that they were given an opportunity to bring down Diego and Danilo of the Cali Cartel. He informs her that a task force is being put together to bring them down and orders her to cut Gustavo and Lucia loose. Lorena then entered the room where Gustavo and Lucia were currently being held.
Jerome[]
Jerome and Louie return home and talk the issue with Kevin. He strongly agreed with Franklin shooting Kevin as it was a means to prevent bloodshed in South Central. Louie, however, is still concerned about the DEA agent who spotted Franklin and Leon and is wondering why the feds were there in the first place. Jerome doesn't believed it was a coincidence and wants to know what they know since it's possible they pinged Leon's plate and might wind up at their doorsteps. Louie states she may know someone who could help and requests Jerome to pack a bag for Franklin since he'll need to lay low. As Jerome is gathering items for Franklin, he hears Cissy entering the home looking for her son. She sees Jerome and asks where Franklin is. Franklin lies stating he has no clue. Cissy refused to believe that and called for Franklin. Jerome runs out for Cissy who is now asking Louie where Franklin is. Jerome claimed to Cissy that Louie was just leaving and sent her to the front door. Cissy lashes out at Jerome, telling him that LAPD detectives are for looking for Franklin, and dropped a bombshell that Kevin is dead. Jerome asked what she meant by Kevin being dead. Cissy states he was shot and killed and demanded to know where Franklin was at and what is happening. Jerome said nothing as he returned back to Franklin's room to gather more of his stuff. He then let Cissy know that Franklin will reach out to her when he decides to. Cissy reminds him that he and Louie don't have kids of their own and what he's proposing is not how parenting works. Jerome then reminds Cissy that her son knows what he's doing. Cissy then loses it and blames Jerome for putting her son on this path. Jerome then states it wasn't just him, it was everyone involved in Franklin's life. He then accused Cissy of turning her back on Franklin. Cissy at that point considered Jerome ungrateful. Jerome then stated he paid her back long ago, telling her about the mortgage on their house, how it was his hustling that made it possible for her to have the house. Cissy calls him a liar at that point, and Jerome tells her to confront Alton about it since she won't listen to him. He then told Cissy how she took the house, made it a home, and raised a son in it. Jerome understood how Cissy was afraid to take drug money from her son and she needs to accept the fact that he'll continue to help her out and be a part of her life. Cissy then reminded Jerome that Franklin's wanted for murder and can't be a part of her life. Cissy heads through the door and fervently requests her brother to let Franklin know she was there. Jerome agrees as Cissy leaves.
Louie[]
Louie is in the alleyway parked near Claudia's nightclub. She exits her vehicle and sees the cops on Claudia's take about to head to the bar. They recognize Louie and note that she wasn't around as of late. She asked them a favor, telling them that a friend of hers was shot at Acuña Park and would like to know if they have any information on the shooting and if there were any suspects. She then handed the dirty cops an envelop of cash and gave them Kevin's name. The cops agreed and headed to their patrol car.
Franklin[]
Leon exits the restroom and Franklin offers him chips as he grabs the phone. Leon ignores him and makes a call. Franklin asks who he's calling and Leon refuses to answer. He is speaking to his mother asking if anyone was looking for him. Apparently he is in the clear but notices the phone call making a left turn. He then apologizes for his rocky behavior and hangs up. At this point, Franklin realizes if the DEA or LAPD weren't at his home, then they don't have Leon's plates. Leon seemed to think they were in the clear, and Franklin asked how the police knew they were going to be there to begin with and dropped Lucia's name. Since it was Lucia who told Franklin where and when the hit was going to happen and the fact that she had the recipe, he was still the competition, and setting him up would erase him from the equation. Leon then realized that Lucia is a snitch. Franklin then makes a promise to find Lucia and El Oso and 'have a chat' should they get out of this mess. Leon is a hundred percent on board as they share a bag of chips.
Teddy[]
Teddy is back at the office with Gladys loading up the duffel bags with the money to pay Avi, who reminds Teddy that his partners will meet him the next time he's late on his payment and informs him he'll return to the hotel to make the call and get the guns shipped. Teddy thanks Avi who is now leaving with his men and money. Teddy then tells Matt and Gladys they will need to send a cleaning crew to the house since it's exposed as well as the office. Matt then collapses on the desk and Teddy rushes to him. Matt is stating he need a little coke, now that he developed an addiction for cocaine, but Teddy is telling him he needs rest and medical attention. Both Teddy and Gladys help him up. Matt then starts developing major nasal bleeding and Gladys hands Teddy a paper towel for his nose. Teddy tells Gladys she needs to get him to a hospital, but Matt refuses. Teddy then decides they will get Matt back home to bed and hook him up to an IV. Teddy then tries to convince Matt that he did a great job after he was the Colombians hostage for a couple of days. He helps Gladys get Matt up to his feet and watched as she carries him out the door. He then placed his head next to a wall, slid down to a squat, and cried knowing he brought his brother on the job and he may never recover from what happened with Diego and Danilo.
Franklin[]
Back at the cook house, Jerome and Louie arrive to bring Franklin and Leon the news that Kevin is dead. Jerome told them the detectives showed up at Cissy's place and told her. Franklin refused to believe that and suggests his uncle is being played. Louie then confirms Jerome's story courtesy of the cops on Claudia's payroll, stating Franklin hit an artery and he bled to death. Franklin now realized he killed someone and panicked. Leon loses it on Franklin and goes off on him over shooting Kevin but Jerome holds him back. Louise then informs Franklin that they have his name and he's wanted for murder. Leon is infuriated and exits the cook house. Jerome and Louie then tell Franklin they have a federal witness that could identify him. The situation is weighing heavy on Franklin at that point.
Leon[]
Leon returns back to his home, still infuriated upon hearing of Kevin's death, but knowing he is in the clear. He calls for Wanda to let her know she has some food for her and discovers she is no longer tied next to his sink. He then looks through the house to see where she and throws the food in anger knowing she got away on his absence.
Jerome[]
Louie and Jerome are discussing what they can do for Franklin, knowing he can't hide in the cook house forever. Louie doesn't believe Franklin could last in prison and suggests hiding him with some people in Baton Rouge. Franklin appears and asks his aunt and uncle if they heard from Leon and Louie stated that would take time. Franklin then told them Kevin's final words to him and suggests he may be right otherwise he couldn't be dealing with this kind of heat. Jerome then reminded Franklin that this is what he warned him about. There will always be consequences when making money in the game and no way around it. Franklin admitted he always knew what would come at that point and stated he was out of ideas. Louie then suggested getting out of town while there is local and federal heat on his trail. Jerome agreed with Louie and suggested hiding him in Louisiana while considering getting him out immediately. Franklin then asked what would happen to the business in his absence. Louie then states things will be put on hold. Now Franklin has a tough decision to make.
Franklin[]
The next day, Franklin is contemplating who to call, especially after learning of Kevin's fate. He calls Cissy's home and Alton answers. Franklin is silent on the phone and Alton asks if it is his son. Franklin remained silent as Alton implored him to speak to him. Leon enters the home and Franklin ends the call. Leon asked about Jerome and Louise and Franklin told him he sent them down the road. Franklin then apologized for lying to him. Leon then informed Franklin that Wanda escaped the word of Kevin's death got out. Franklin asks who is putting the word out and Leon states that everyone is speaking about it. Leon also states rumors of why he killed Kevin are flying around. Franklin asked if he said anything, and Leon told Franklin that he was telling people the LAPD set him up for the murder. Franklin lets Leon know he will have to leave for a while. When Leon asked, Franklin told him it would be best if he didn't know. Franklin then asked Leon for a favor in acquiring a car for him.
Tony[]
The DEA safehouse is nearly cleared and Lorena is making it known to Tony she is not giving up on taking down Teddy and Matt. Tony then reminds her she could lose more than just her badge if she continued to dig further when ordered to halt the operation. Lorena then tells Tony she could care less about the job and prepares to leave. Tony lets her know they will move on the Colombians on the next morning and offers her a chance to join the raid. Lorena refuses the offer and leaves the building.
Lucia[]
Lucia returns back to her home and heads to her office. She calls for Oso and tells him they need to get going. She opens up a lockbox containing money and bags up the money. She is then attacked by Conejo who is accusing her of trying to have him and his daughter killed. He has Lucia on the ground and starts kicking her in the ribs. Oso then crashes through the office screen door and tackles Conejo, who has his knife ready as he slashes Gustavo. The fight is intense as they tear up the office and take the brawl outside. Gustavo's torso is sliced and Conejo reaches for his knife. Oso tackles him once more and they both go over the second floor railing onto a patio. Lucia runs out with a gun and fires a few shots at Conejo. She manages to hit Conejo but he manages to flee severely wounded. Lucia then reaches Oso to find him barely alive and in dire need of medical attention. She cradles his head into her arms and is begging him not to fade away. Lucia then cries for him as he is passing out.
Teddy[]
Teddy is back at the office clearing out the files and discovers Lorena checking out a map of Nicaragua. Teddy then demands to know who she is and what she is doing there. Lorena is quick to ask why an agency operating in Nicaragua would want to shut down a DEA operation. Teddy then realized she was the mole in the Villanueva case. Apparently the situation becomes awkward and Teddy requests Lorena to leave. Lorena then asks what agency he works. Teddy reminds her she was told not to ask those questions. Lorena they states she will stop asking as soon as she gets the truth about her operation being curtailed. Teddy tells her they are both in this to make America a better and safer place and Lorena asks how shutting down her op does just that. Teddy then stated how he handed the DEA Diego and Danilo. Lorena is curious how Teddy managed that. Teddy then offers Lorena a ride to a bar where he will tell her about his operations. Lorena then agrees to tag along.
Franklin[]
It is late at night and Franklin parks his vehicle in a alleyway. He then hops over a wall into Cissy's yard and sees her from behind the clothes lines inside her home. He then enters the back door and Cissy, assuming it was Alton, asked if there was any luck finding her son. She then sees Franklin and runs up to hug him as hard as possible. Franklin then explained his reasoning for shooting Kevin and stated it was to protect everyone in South Central, but mentioned he didn't intend to kill him. He weeps and holds his mother tight. Franklin then tells Cissy he may have to leave and if he has to stop the drug running just to be a part of her life, then he would do that for her. Andre knocks on the door, stating he knows about Franklin being in there. Franklin then makes a mad dash to the back door, and upon opening it, he is met with cops who have their guns drawn on him. Cissy begs them not to shoot him. The police then slam Franklin onto the table and handcuff. Franklin is then dragged out the front door with Andre on the porch who made it clear to Franklin that he knew he would visit her. Even Melody is on the lawn as she watches Franklin being dragged to the patrol car as well as many of Cissy's neighbors. After her is placed in the back of a squad car, Cissy approaches the window telling Franklin she loves him and even runs toward the patrol car as they head down the road.
