He also mentioned how he learned of the shooting that put Louie in the hospital. Louie states the same issue that occurred on Teddy. Louie pointed out to Teddy that she tried his pager but there was no response so she paged Oso to make the meeting possible. Teddy explains that she may have used the old number and asked why he was summoned. Louie tells Teddy she wants to buy directly from him, explaining she felt like business was swell between them while Franklin was in the hospital. Teddy then asked if Franklin knows about this plan and Louie flat out says no, making it known she could easily go to the Colombians. Teddy clarifies it is better to deal with a difficult person one knows than to deal with a new person that could be much worse.

Cissy
[]

Cissy arrives at the park to meet her contact, Rubén, sitting on a bench in the view of a pond with ducks and swans afloat and throwing out some nuts to feed them. Cissy takes a seat and Rubén asks if she has the recordings he needs. Cissy states once more she isn't getting her son involved, clarifying the real targets are Teddy and his bosses in the CIA. Rubén then reminds her that Franklin is the catalyst they need to take down her enemies. He then puts it bluntly that is Cissy won't help them, there is nothing to discuss. As Rubén prepares to depart, Cissy states there will be a wedding, featuring Jerome marrying Louie. She tells him friends and family are invited to the ceremony, as well as certain key business associates. Rubén is now interested as he asks when the wedding takes place. Cissy states it will be as imminent as the upcoming month. Rubén then tells Cissy he would like every detail she knows about the wedding.

Kane
[]

Kane is relaxing in a booth at the Pool Hall with his lieutenant, Ricky, at his favorite bar enjoying a cigarette and his grunt, Justin, approached him to inform him that he has a female visitor who is dressed like an office worker and rode there in a Mercedes. Kane then tells Ricky to bring her in and Ricky obliges as he walks to the back and lets Veronique in the bar. Veronique approaches Kane's table and acknowledges him, and Kane suggests with a smug expression for her to refer to him as 'Kane'. Veronique then requests a seat and Kane obliges her as he scoots further into the booth. She sits down, still overwhelmed from dealing with her pregnancy, and introduced herself, citing she is Franklin Saint's girlfriend, and carrying his child. Kane then asks Veronique what she wants, and Veronique requests Kane puts away the cigarette. Kane takes a puff of his cigarette and puts it in the ashtray. Veronique then breaks it to Kane that she was at the restaurant when his boys lit it up in the drive-by. Veronique then states that she wants to know if it is safe for her to stick around or if it is better for her to go visit her mother back east. Kane chuckled and realized that Franklin said nothing to her about everything being square between them but Veronique states otherwise, but wants to know if that is the truth. Kane tells her the deal he stroke with Leon is solid and he'll keep his word. Veronique is then asking if she and her unborn child are in the clear and Kane states she is.

Jerome
[]

Over at Louie's nightclub, Jerome enters Louie's office and talked about the tailor for his suit which he is ecstatic about. She asks when the suit will be complete and Jerome states it will be at least a week as he walked up behind Louie and started kissing her down the neck, saying they got plenty of time to fool around. He then asks about the wedding planning. Louie states her wedding planner, Keisha, got them a great venue, an excellent catering company, and a chocolate fountain which could be used for dipping strawberries in. Jerome then asked about the band, and unfortunately Louie tells Jerome that all the good bands are booked. Jerome then tells his fiancé not to worry and let their wedding planner know he'll take care of the music. Louie then checks Jerome out and admires his style, seeing how healthy he is. Jerome states he is swell as he kisses her, and clarifies that 3 weeks has passed since he lost his temper as well as 3 days without a drink and is wearing a sweet tuxedo jacket. Now Louie is turned on as she states she brokered a deal with Teddy to sell straight to them. Jerome, upon hearing that and knowing Franklin's reaction, suggests he'll take that drink right away. Louie's mood change and approached her liquor display, then stated it was bound to happen. Jerome clarified that he knew it was coming and reminded her that Franklin is their blood, then points out that he always believed that everything she did was business and how he backed her up on the decision. Jerome then reminds her he would never go to war against his own flesh and blood. Louie approaches Jerome and lays the whiskey glass on the desk to tell him that won't happen. Jerome holds Louie and tells her Franklin won't like it and Louie states he'll set things straight with Franklin after the wedding. She then suggests to Jerome they need to have a good time and points out this was the one path that would help them decide their own future.

It is the day of Jerome and Louie's wedding and Franklin has the role of best man and ring bearer while Louie's sister, Candy, takes the maid of honor role. The minister continues to speak to the friends, families, and business acquaintances about the sanctity of marriage, unaware that DEA agent Tony Marino, is sitting in his van listening on the ceremony and drinking some coffee.

Skully

Skully asked if everyone is getting one and Pastel states it would be to those who want one. She introduces herself and they shake hands. He then asks for some water and Pastel hastily rushes to get him one.

The Family
[]

The minister prepares to wrap up the ceremony as Tony continues listening in. He gets to the "I do's" and when they are both asked if they would take each other, Jerome gives him a "Hell Yes" and Louie shouts out "Yes". Franklin brings forth the rings as per the ministers request. They each place the rings on their fingers and minister declares them husband and wife, then Jerome and Louie seal the bond with a kiss. Everyone begins clapping as the bond is made. There is a reception taking place and a family photo is taken. People are getting champagne and visiting with friends and family. More photos are taken as Franklin poses with Oso and Xiamara for a shot, all the while, Tony is still staking out the wedding. Elsewhere, someone else is taking quick photos of the Family and their associates attending the wedding service. We then see Rubén dresses as a waiter approaching Jerome, Louie, and Leon and serving them glasses of champagne. He then approaches Cissy and Veronique and offers them some. Veronique declines and Cissy, who is shocked to see him, declines as well. We then see Pastel passing out the chocolate strawberries and Avi takes one. Franklin agrees to take a strawberry but declines champagne from Rubén, citing he doesn't drink. Pastel then tells Franklin he should take a whole plate of strawberries if he doesn't drink. Franklin agrees as he takes some more strawberries to eat. Louie is then visiting with her sister Candy, who is congratulating her.

Franklin
[]

Franklin is with Veronique who is not up for eating anything, citing she'll be heading home soon for reasons involving her pregnancy and he should just stick around with his entire family. Veronique is still wanting to maintain some distance from Franklin and notes it won't be like this forever. They kiss and she departs while Franklin bites down another strawberry. While everyone is having a blast, Franklin steps away near the garden entrance and begins experiencing chest pain. It is apparent that he's been dope and Wanda approaches him. Franklin, still having issues from whatever went in his system, compliments the wedding and Wanda expresses her admiration for Louie looking beautiful as she is. Franklin then compliments Wanda for her excellent work in the rent collection and looking after the tenants. He then offers her a chance to manage some of the places. Wanda excitingly agrees to the offer and they both hug on it. Franklin tells Wanda he's proud of her and states he's getting some food as he returns to the party.

Gustavo
[]

As the reception continues, Gustavo begins experiencing some issues as he is rubbing his face and Xiamara notices.

Cissy
[]

Cissy is at the table preparing to eat her food and Franklin hands his mother her silverware. He then compliments her new earrings. Franklin then begins hallucinating as he claims to see something running around the table, claiming to see maybe a squirrel moving about as he looks under the table. Johnny and Candy then come across the table and Franklin acting strange. Franklin returns to his feet and introduces his mother to Louie's family from Little Rock. They take a seat at the table and they tell Cissy about their 'import/export' business with Louie. Cissy then compliments them on their expensive flare and jewelry. Apparently they show that working with the Family has paid off for them. Franklin then begins ranting off and Cissy noticed something off with her son as he guffaws uncontrollably.

Franklin
[]

Franklin heads towards the gardening area away from the reception sits upon a large oak tree after being hit with some side effects. Skully then approaches him with a cigarette in hand and Franklin asks how he is doing. Skully states he is bonded in death with his family and claims to help consecrate their union and celebrate life. He then states to Franklin that with the death of an ego can they walk the higher path. Skully tosses his cigarette and suggested it was time to head off. Skully then requests Franklin to tell Jerome and Louie he hopes they enjoy the gift he got them for the wedding and leaves. Franklin later wonders off and toward the pool area and the side effects he is experiencing are kicked into overdrive as the sun glares in his vision. Immediately, he loses it as he stumbles through the balloon displays near the pool and comes across Avi. They greet and hug it out and Franklin further walks off then sees Leon lying down in the row of seats. Leon gets up and Franklin feels some issues with his head. He asks Leon if he feels it and Leon tells Franklin he can, and though some changes are happening, Leon would always be Franklin's friend. Leon then suggests that at some point Jerome and Louie may settle down so they can fix the problems with their people. Leon then asked Franklin if he ever read the book he got him and instead of answering, Franklin declares he needs to take a piss as he bolts into the house. Shortly after, Franklin stumbles back into the reception where several folks, including Jerome and Louie, are dancing to the music. Both Jerome and Louie see Franklin and laugh together, they then see him rush into the house and Laugh it off while continuing their dance. Franklin then slams the door to the house and turns around to hallucinate being on stage and hearing some laughter. He then turns around and slams his head on the door. He then turns back around and realizes he is in the house. He walks down the hallway and rushes into the restroom as soon as he spots it. He is then next to the sink as he was finished up in there and upon gazing into the mirror he can see his face deforming. Franklin freaks out as he turns on the sink and further washes his face. Franklin then hears a familiar voice and looks in the mirror to see Rob behind him. Franklin realizes he is hallucinating as he stumbles backwards out of the bathroom with Rob in pursuit. He can hear Rob talking about a saying his father made about what goes around comes around as Franklin attempted to open two doors that were locked. Franklin didn't understand what Rob meant but Rob claimed it meant Franklin could screw up so much until he himself becomes screwed. Franklin claimed he did what needed to be done since Rob was stuck on the pipe. Rob then asked if that was why he deserved to die as Franklin claimed he never wanted to do it while running back into the bathroom. Rob then asked why kill him as he corners Franklin who is now in the shower and claimed he would never have sold him out. Franklin proclaimed he lost his trust for Rob who then states Franklin couldn't control him which was why he killed him, just like his father. Franklin denies having any involvement in what happened to Alton but Rob concurs, claiming Alton is dead thanks to him. Franklin then claimed that killing Rob hurt him. Rob didn't accept that answer as he drew a gun on Franklin and told him the shot would as he fired his gun on Franklin in the shower. Franklin then fell back and landed in his but dead, or so to speak.

Cissy hugs her brother and apparently she is feeling some side effects. Jerome tells his sister it's great to be a married man. Cissy then asks Jerome if he was the one who dosed everyone with LSD, meaning Franklin wasn't the only one who was doped. Apparently Jerome showed he had it in his system too and realized there were people acting a bit inconspicuous as well. Apparently there is a moment where they are hallucinating and Jerome states some people around will 'lose their shit' and Cissy realized Franklin may be trouble as she rushes off.

Gustavo
[]

Elsewhere, Gustavo is feeling the full effect of the LSD as he is moving like in a groove and Avi and Xiamara are goofing off acting as if they are pretending Xiamara's high heels are satellite phones. Gustavo then falls over and starts rolling in the grass and playing dead.

Big Deon
[]

As the party continues, Deon is affected from the LSD as he takes a seat where is Einstein and his date are at. Einstein asked Deon how he is and Deon tells him he is 'Fucked Up!' Deon doesn't believe the champagne has any affect as he grabs himself a glass.

Cissy then makes it known that they've been dosed with LSD. Franklin flips out to the fact that he has acid in his system and Cissy implores her son to just go with it. Franklin is freaking out, begging his mom to know how he could make the effects stop and Cissy tells her son she won't allow anything to happen to him. She then pulls Franklin out of the bathroom and into the living room, getting him on the sofa. Franklin then laments on Rob telling him he killed his own father and Cissy disagrees as she further checks on her son. Her mood quickly changed as she berated him for putting white folks before his father and money before God. Apparently the effects are still plaguing Franklin as Cissy continues to scorn him. Franklin's heart races to the point where he snaps at Cissy, who then flees from him and Franklin bolts back to the bathroom. Outside, Rubén is continuing his espionage and a drugged up Avi approaches him and returns his champagne glass to the platter. Rubén then asks Avi how he knows the wedding guests and Avi, in his LSD-riddled state, slips that he is an advisor to the groom's nephew. Cissy then approaches Rubén and pushes him, causing Rubén to lose his grip on the platter with the champagne glasses shattering. Cissy then accuses Rubén of dosing them. Rubén plays dumb and Avi asks Cissy what he did. Cissy then goes off at Rubén who immediately requests help from Avi. Calmly, Avi tells Cissy he is a waiter. Instead, Cissy continues to lose her mind on Rubén and Avi decides to leave. Rubén then begs Avi not to leave and Cissy begs Rubén to stay away from her family. Rubén makes a hasty retreat and Leon checks on Cissy, who is now going off about some KGB Cuban wanting to kill her son. Leon sees that Cissy is losing it and suggested he'll unlock his vehicle so she could rest and Cissy immediately hugs Leon while lamenting about the possibilities of killing everyone.

There's another knock and Franklin then makes a claim about having a gun on him, and threatening whoever was behind the door. He then hears Veronique behind the door. Franklin holsters his pretend gun down his pants and gets up, then exaggerates about Veronique already leaving the wedding. Veronique claims to be better and requested to open the door. Franklin then opens up and discovers Veronique who now appears less than a month away from having the child. Franklin receives a hug from Veronique but distances himself from her, knowing she was not that far along her pregnancy and clarifies he's been drugged. Veronique then attempts to calm him down and remind him their child was nearly killed as she places his hand on her belly. Franklin then further goes off, telling himself none of this was real. Veronique then further asks Franklin to calm down and push the truth out. Franklin then reveals the fact that he may lose his woman and child. Veronique then tells Franklin he cannot be a gangster and a family man nor can he be a killer and in honest business as she walks around him and her voice echoes. Franklin refuses to believe that fate as he claimed to have come so far. Veronique then tells Franklin he have to destroy them all for the only act of survival is to betray him in the end. Avi then speaks of one Mr. Shabazz being being a brilliant speaker and organizer, but clarifies a good idea can't be rejected because the idealist is white. Leon disagrees and states he and his people need their own thinkers and thoughts. Avi then tells Leon that for that reality to happen, he would have to study everything and travel. Leon expressed his negativity for travelling. Avi then suggested avoiding Algeria, Somalia, and Nigeria, but recommended Viet Nam and meet the folks there. Leon then asked about Africa and Avi suggested meeting the Viet Cong and learn what it was like to fight Americans and win. Avi then suggested Ireland and Leon disagreed on that. Avi then pointed out how the English conquered Ireland and banned their language. Just as Avi was continuing, he told Leon to check out the sunset.

Franklin
[]

Franklin, still high on acid, walks down the lengthy hall of the house and proceeds through a door, and within that doorway was a resemblance of his old bedroom from his childhood home. He approaches the nightstand and sees a family photo lying down but reaches for the screwdriver behind it instead. He stares at the screwdriver, then hears some laughter and a phone rings. Over the phone, he hears Teddy asking who it was. Apparently he hears a conversation between him and Teddy. Franklin is back in the house but approaches Teddy who is on the sofa. It goes from hearing what sounded like a phone conversation to Franklin speaking to Teddy. Franklin takes a seat and with a expression, Franklin, believing he is talking to a shadow of Teddy, talks of the possibility of being killed off by him one day. Wanda claimed it was the acid making them feel the way they feel, but tomorrow they'll feel nothing but blood, bruises, and broken teeth. Deon then asks Wanda why she isn't affected and Wanda claims to be allergic to chocolate. Both Johnny and Deon laugh and hug it out. Wanda then leaves and checks on another guest, then walks away, only for Leon to run up to her and pick her up in the air. She then asked Leon if he got LSD in his system and Leon clarified he did and claimed to be fine. Wanda tells him she needs to move on and check on those affected by the LSD, but Leon stops her and tells her he is travelling to Africa. Wanda then asks if Leon has a passport. Leon then tells Wanda he wants her to go with him. Wanda is speechless for a moment and asks Leon why ask her that as she walks away. Leon apparently is still affected and asked if that was a no answer.

Franklin
[]

Franklin refuses to hear it as he reaches for the doorknob and his alter-ego claimed Franklin's life was his own failure, claiming he messed up. Franklin then claims he has no problems, but solves them. Other Franklin states Franklins real fear allowed the worst thing his father done go in motion. Franklin denies it but his shadow self claimed Alton never cared about him and claimed to work for the people, only to betray them to save himself. His alter self continues calling Franklin's hypocrisy for talking about the white man when he uses the my-way-or-the-highway approach. Franklin then claims helps people. His shadow self laughs to that answer and asks about Andre, then started naming Kevin, Rob, Manboy, his own father, and everyone he killed or got killed. His other self then named Tianna, Khadijah, Lenny, Karvel, and spazzes on the body count Franklin has, asking if that was how he helped. Franklin refused to see that and claimed he made himself and his people rich and asked where they would be at had it not been for him. His alter ego laughs then states no onw sees it that way and Franklin was too blind to realize it which was why his empire will crumble. Franklin refuses to accept that future and claims he could still save it. His other self tells him despite heeding his word, it would not change a thing. Shortly after, Franklin exits the house, now clear of the LSD. He approaches Leon, who is now clean of acid. Leon tells Franklin Cissy lost it and is resting it off in the car.
