Pride gonna fucking ruin that woman, and I'm getting tired of fighting for her.
-Franklin Saint
Sharon 'Cissy' Saint-Williams is the mother of Franklin Saint.
Biography[]
At the beginning of the series, Cissy worked for real estate mogul Arnold Tulfowitz, but was later fired from his firm. Knowing the type of business her son, Franklin, was in, she refused to take a dime from him, knowing where his revenue came from, despite the possibility of losing her home. She was separated from her husband, Alton Williams, for a time, but later brought him back into her home after a massive police crackdown on a block that placed him in the hospital.
Despite losing her job and the fact that she learned the house was paid off much to her dismay, she agreed to work in the real estate game with Franklin using her expertise. She even participated in a deal with Paul Davis, only to learn he backed off of her and Franklin. After the situation with Teddy, she and Alton fled to Cuba.
Cissy later returned after Alton disappeared and saw Franklin built his new real estate business, West-Side Development. She even met Veronique and learned she is to be a grandmother. Her true reason for returning came into fruition when a mysterious man named Rubén contacted her and apparently she is working to help off Teddy in exchange for protection for her family and information about her husband.
After Franklin's fortune was hijacked by Teddy, she attempted to reach out to Rubén. After Franklin hit Louie and Jerome's fronts and robbed them of their slush funds, she told Franklin about her friends in the KGB and the plan to kill Teddy.
She later learned of Alton's death and the deal Franklin made with Teddy, so Cissy decided to kill Teddy in broad daylight. She is now in prison facing life without a chance of parole. She even officially cut ties with Franklin after seeing that he was known to make empty promises.

Quotes[]
- "Those hours, days, and weeks after your father disappeared in Cuba were some of the worst in my life. I was completely alone in a foreign country that I didn't speak the fucking language. Didn't know what happened to him, but knew almost for certain that I'd never see him again. And if the pain and frustration weren't enough, there was always the fear that at any moment they could come and get me, too. It went on like that for months until one night, I realized why Teddy let me live. It wasn't a moral decision or even convenience. He could've killed me and gotten away with it. Mm-mm. Teddy spared my life because, in his mind, I posed no threat to him. None of us do. He could take away one of the most important things in my life, and I could do nothing about it. I was just some n!##@r who'd never touch him, inconsequential to the point it wasn't even worth the effort it would take to snuff me out. And in that moment, I knew. Fuck Teddy, fuck the CIA, and fuck the government that supported him. I was gonna do whatever it would take to not only destroy him but to make sure that he knew it was me, the inconsequential n!##a who did it. I am way past facing reality, Franklin. I am done standing by the door, waiting for Mama to come home. Now are you with me, Saint? Or are you with them?"
