He stated that it was around 3AM and they wouldn't have had a clue but he cleaned up the mess and found files that could help their cause. Louie then suggested buying a nicer home and hiring a maid. Jerome agrees and suggested getting a maid that could cook. Louie then suggested getting a white maid. They both laugh to such an idea. Jerome then clarified she has to be able to make sweet potato pie and not pumpkin flavor. Louie agrees to the decision. Louie then gets a page and checks it but Jerome suggested she doesn't respond as he takes it and suggested removing the battery. Louie makes the call and it's Teddy on the line. He broke it to Louie that Franklin decided to pull out of the cocaine game which meant she'll be taking on the load. He asked if she could take that responsibility and whether or not he could count on her. Louie answers yes. All the while, Teddy is in the bedroom with Parissa who tossed her bra into his face. Teddy is obliged as he hung up and continue his intercourse with Parissa. After the call, Louie broke it to Jerome that Franklin ended the game on his own accord. Jerome is surprised to hear of the news. Louie claimed it could be good for business since there would be no competition or bitterness. Jerome claimed to agree but expressed uncertainty and Louie could see it in his face. Jerome then decided to hell with it and celebrates with some champagne which Louie was excited to hear.

Veronique
[]

Over at WSD, Veronique is with Wanda who is asking to take a nice, but lengthy vacation. Veronique pointed out that meant a leave of absence. Wanda then state she would head off for a period of time hoping the job would still be there. Veronique understood what she meant and they were both startled to Franklin blowing a fuse on the phone in his office and slamming the door. Veronique then suggested to Wanda to take the leave and would see about her position being available as she needed to see what the issue was in the office. She enters and checks on Franklin who is speaking breathlessly and frustratingly to whoever was on the other end. Veronique then asked what happened. Franklin then informed her that his money was all gone.

Xiamara
[]

Xiamara is on the phone with Gustavo terrified and requesting him to return so they could have some time without anyone listening on the listening device knowing she found the bug. Gustavo tells her he'll be home once he gets the chance. Xiamara still feels the fear and anxiety knowing someone is surveilling her home.

Leon
[]

Over in the Projects, Leon tells his crew there is no point in helping out their people while their selling rocks on the street. He then states that if Franklin was out then so was he. Big Deon then asked who would they buy from then, wondering if it was someone named Big Rome. Leon states they could do or just call it quit. Deon dislikes the idea of backing away and wants some convincing for it before someone else gets rich on them. Leon tells the Family crew the game is about to change. He is warning the guys that Congress is writing a new law and the bill that would hurt their business would pass before the midterms take place. Renny that asked Leon if he referred to the midterms Einstein was gonna take. Einstein states his exams would be in January. Leon then referred to the 1986 Midterm Elections in November. He tells the crew the politician would make it where one gram of crack could give them the same time in the clink as 100 grams of yeyo. He then asked why their elected officials would do that. Einstein answers it as an excuse to lock up black folks. Leon tells them all they want to bring the next generation to a time before emancipation and the bill was the weapon. He then implores the crew they need to pull out of the game. He suggested starting a legit business, making investments, buying a home, and threw out the idea of starting a car dealership, but pleaded that they get away from the game. Deon was not much for listening as he asked Leon if he was in charge should he be out as he lit himself a cigarette. Leon could see there were some deaf ears, including Deon's, knowing his valiant effort to persuade them fell short.

Franklin
[]

Over at the WSD office, Cissy asked Franklin if every account he had was really cleared out. Franklin states every one of them, naming the Caymans, Panama, the Continental Business Bank Savings and Loans in LA, making it blunt that every penny of his money was gone. Cissy asked how much was taken. Veronique told her it was $73 million. Franklin told them if this act was a legitimate seizure, they would all be locked up, and pointed out it had to be Teddy. He realized there was one thing that needed to be done and reached for his phone. Veronique asked what his plan was and Franklin stated he'll contact Teddy and return back to business, then throws out an idea to kidnap him and torture him until he gets his money back. Veronique warns Franklin that should he go down that path, not only would he never see the money again, but would get them all killed. Apparently there was no answer on the line as he slams down the phone, leaving him stressing on what his next move would be. She tells him she has contacted some of the best forensics accountants nationwide and they would have records of the transfers and funds could be tracked. Franklin then asked what would happen had they tracked the cash to some CIA slush fund, that they'd steal it back. Veronique tells Franklin once they've located the money, there would be ways to retrieve it. Veronique then tells Franklin this was her specialty. Franklin stressed out the fact this was everything he worked for and refusing to sit around while waiting for a miracle as he prepared to head off. Veronique then warned Franklin there would be no coming back from torturing and killing a CIA agent but Franklin didn't leave it up for discussion. Cissy asked where he was taking off to and Franklin told them he was heading to see Avi. Franklin pointed out that Avi knew of the Panama accounts and could have been in on it. He also pointed out that he is still working with Teddy and may be able to contact him if Teddy doesn't answer his pages. Cissy asked if Franklin could trust him and Franklin bluntly stated no. She then asked about Oso and Franklin told her he been paging Oso but heard nothing. Franklin then turns to Veronique requesting a full workup of what they still had from what they what they own and owed plus the time table they could stay afloat on with no cash reserves and rental income. He then states he'll call should he learn anything.

Teddy
[]

Teddy is back at the CIA warehouse looking over a bottle of liquor. His pager is going off and his Havemeyer walks up suggesting whether or not Teddy needs to make a call. Teddy tells his handler the call can wait as he checked his pager. He then opens up the bottle and pours himself a cup. Havemeyer then asked why he was called down. Teddy then informed his handler that he was able to accumulate $73 million in seizes cash assets and pointed out there was no way the owner could never touch it again. He stated that some of it would go to the war effort in Nicaragua and points out the conflict courtesy of their efforts is coming to a climax. Teddy points out that peace negotiations would take place the following year, leaving them with the $73 million to spend on whatever comes next. Havemeyer sees that Teddy was willing to give their employer a very generous donation and Teddy shows he does but with a condition he had.

Cissy
[]

Back at the office, Cissy is making a call while looking around making sure no one was in ear sight. The lady on the line answers as Wilfred Plumbing, but apparently looks to be in a bunker with recording devices around. Cissy tells her she needs to speak with Rubén and leaves her name. The lady on the line tells Cissy that Rubén is occupied but will leave a message for him to get in touch. Cissy then asked the woman on the line to tell Rubén it was an emergency. The speaker over the phone agreed and Cissy hung up.

Rubén
[]

Rubén is now over at a safehouse with Jacob instructing him to have his done job and cleaned up before nightfall. Rubén understood, then Jacob ordered him to find what they could use in the files he found or squeeze it out of Avi. He also stated to Rubén he shouldn't end this job empty-handed and left. Later, Rubén removed the tape from Avi's mouth and began the interrogation. Avi then requested to be untied and given some aspirin so they could be civilized as Rubén removed a pair of glasses on his pocket and placed them on Avi. Rubén told him he'd want some information first as he gave Avi a cigarette to smoke on. As Rubén began unlacing his boots, Avi stated that Rubén found everything he needed from hard proof of drug money for weapons and his work with the CIA. He told Rubén he had more than enough to destabilize America and please the Soviet Union. Rubén immediately realized Avi knew he was a sleeper agent. Rubén walked toward his prisoner and stated he knew he was ex-Mossad while removing Avi's cigarette. Avi then tells Rubén he has no loyalties to United States or its people, not even the CIA, of Teddy McDonald, or Franklin Saint. He admitted to being fond of Franklin. Rubén then told Avi there shouldn't be a problem for Avi to feed him more intel. Avi then told Rubén that in order to provide him what he wanted, he would need assurances that he'd leave this place alive. Rubén clarifies that Avi was in no position to negotiate but Avi disagrees, knowing how Rubén's handler would react if he doesn't get anything his handlers would like. Rubén states to Avi he has him as a prisoner and the files he retrieved from the warehouse. Avi finally admits the files were useless and used the saying never to leave the launch codes where the keys were. Avi then taunts Rubén, stating his bosses at the top would hate it if he left a mess with nothing to show for it, for he could be sent back to Moscow working a mediocre job in the freezing climate of Vladivostok. Avi could immediately sniff out the possibilities of death and torture for Rubén should he fail to deliver. Rubén bends toward Avi and tells him that he would know torture if he won't or the files were bogus.

Franklin
[]

Franklin rides over to the Chinatown warehouse only to find the LAPD and the Fire Department outside along with the medical response. He sees that Avi's warehouse was broken into and torched. Later, Franklin is at a payphone and finally gets a hold of Teddy, who pointed out the constant pages after walking away the recent night. Franklin tells Teddy he made a mistake leaving the game and wants to return back to business. Franklin threw out excuses of being angry and feeling betrayal, but claimed to wake up realizing their talk of it being them both to the end but it was feeling. Teddy then tells him that door closed. Franklin refuses to buy that answers then asked if he could trust Louie pointing out she wouldn't be able to deliver for him the way he did. Teddy then brought up the fact that he was shot and Alton going to a reporter. Teddy then suggested buying kilos from Louie should he want to stay in business and prepares to end the call. Franklin then tells Teddy it's fine if he wanted to play that game, then requests he returns the money immediately. Teddy plays dumb, but Franklin isn't buying it. Teddy continues to deny hijacking the money, but Franklin makes it clear he knows Teddy is involved with Alton going missing and blames him for kidnapping Avi and torching his Chinatown warehouse. Immediately upon learning of said news, Teddy quit playing dumb and asked if Avi was really missing. Franklin lashes out, believing Teddy was responsible, claiming he did everything that was asked of him only to be screwed over. Teddy was still playing dumb over the cash issue and pointed out he warned Franklin of using Panama and the Caymans. Franklin, now stressed and infuriated to no avail, gave Teddy a dire warning that if he doesn't return his cash in a day's time, he would utilize every resource he had to destroy Teddy and everything he loved. Fed up with Franklin, Teddy immediately warned Franklin to tread carefully, for if he believed he lost everything, he should wait for what's next. The call immediately ends.

Rubén
[]

Over at the safehouse, Rubén is going over all the files and Avi pointed out the files were useless. Avi then pointed out how Rubén didn't look like any Russian he's ever met. Rubén stated his father was a diplomat station in Cuba after World War II. Avi found the story intriguing seeing how it was possible his father found a nice Cuban woman to settle down with. Rubén stated he went to Moscow with his father after his mother died. Avi sees that Rubén was a Russian diplomats son who was fluent in Spanish and sees why the KGB was so interested in him. Avi asked Rubén if is investigation into him turned up intel that both his parents were Russian Jews. He told Rubén of how they fled the Pale of Settlement back in 1902 making the trek to Palestine. He stated that both his parent died long ago and Israel turned it's back on him. Avi then suggested returning to his roots. Rubén admitted Avi was right and needed the information but pointed out that real shortly the only way he could get it would be to break Avi in a way that could not be fixed and implores Avi not to let it come to that. Avi tells Rubén to promise him on the soul of his dead mother that should he where to find what it was he needed, he would be released. Rubén agrees to swear to him he'll release him after he gets what he wants.

Gustavo
[]

Gustavo returns to Xiamara's house. He enters and Xiamara gives Oso the quiet signal while showing him the listening device she found. She then hands it to him. Later, they are both outside on the patio and told her it was a bug. Xiamara is stressing out and asked who would bug them. Gustavo suggested possibly being Teddy and told her they should leave and never return. Xiamara, still frightened of the events, pointed out that Teddy is with the CIA and could track them down. Oso told her that tracking them down wasn't worth the time. He gets a page and states that was the second page he had in an hours time. Gustavo then instructs Xiamara to pack up everything as well as the kids. He tells Xiamara he's got something to do first then they'll leave. Xiamara is beside herself on the fact they'll live on the run, asking him what kind of life that would be. Gustavo states it would be any kind of life, seeing how he has $13 million to spend. Oso then kisses Xiamara on the forehead, winks at her, and walks off. Later he is taking to Teddy and making a cover-up story of one of his nephews being ill and told him to give him a few hours. Teddy, who is outside Avi's warehouse, is not pleased with the fact of Oso's absence but agrees to give him the leave of absence. The phone conversation ends.

Franklin
[]

Franklin is back at the office stressing over the fact that Teddy is ducking him and Avi is missing as well as his warehouse being burned down. Franklin then told Veronique he sent home two people, Elias and Adalyn, for he couldn't trust them anymore. He then asked where Cissy went, and Veronique told him she went to see Jerome and tell him about the situation. Franklin then asked what Veronique learned. Veronique pointed out that most of the buildings he owned were in South Central, which they would need appraisals for proof, but she informed him that he hasn't owned most of them for a few years. Veronique also stated that the property in that area is unattractive due to the high crime rate. Franklin then asked how would they hold onto the downtown property without the flow of money without losing the $6 million down payment. Veronique broke it to Franklin that even if they were able to sell everything, they still wouldn't be able to cover the payments. Veronique then warned Franklin that if they don't get some auxiliary income over the course of a few days, not only would they lose the downtown property and the $6 million down payment. Franklin is reeling as Veronique stated that with a chance of depreciation on his owned properties versus the mortgages on the high-end properties, he'll owe more than what he had on him. Franklin laughs and points out that he isn't even broke yet, but in debt. The phone rings in his office and Franklin heads over to answer it. It's Gustavo over the phone. Franklin then asked Oso if he was with Teddy, and Gustavo answered no but asked why. Franklin told Oso that Teddy hijacked all the money in his accounts and wants to know how to find him. Gustavo states Teddy would know he snitched should he give Franklin what he wanted. Franklin then warned Oso Teddy would screw him over too and stated he could stop him and bring him down before he tries again and save them both. Gustavo points out that he is connected to the Government and would win either way. Franklin is beside himself over Oso backing down, reminding him how he saved his life. Gustavo pointed out that he did the same for him once. Oso then tells Franklin he must protect his own family and wishes him luck in making it out. Franklin attempts to keep the conversation afloat but Oso ends the call. Franklin was running out of luck as he banged on his telephone. He then swiped everything off of the desk in frustration, started throwing stuff around, and threw over a glass display case while lashing out, causing the glass to shatter. With his options running thin, Franklin then asked where Jerome and Louie were staying at.

Louie
[]

Louie is over at her hotel room sleeping and she awakened to the telephone ringing. She reaches for the phone and answers. Franklin is on the line stating he needed to meet with her. Louie tells Franklin it's not a good time. Franklin then expressed his desperation and told her she was the only person that could help him. He pleaded once more to her.

Leon
[]

Nightfall has hit and people in the Projects are running wild. We see Einstein speeding on a bike, folks playing dice, and Big Deon winning a game of dominoes and celebrating by firing his gun in the air, scaring other folks around him. Leon, on the other hand, could only watch with disappointment knowing he failed to persuade anyone there to walk away from the game. Wanda then ran up to Leon telling him she has her passport. She spoke about how she had to beg and grovel for the clerk to get her a passport after she was closing shop but succeeded. Wanda then showed Leon her photo inside the passport, even though his head was off somewhere. Wanda stated how she should have put some time into her hair for the photograph. Wanda could see something amiss with Leon and asked what the problem was. Leon stated there was nothing and suggested packing their things so they could take off. Wanda jumps up with excitement, then hugs and kisses Leon as they leave, while the rest of the Projects are having a blast.

Teddy
[]

Teddy and Parissa are riding down the road to Avi's house and Teddy tells Parissa to alert him should she see anyone approach the place. She agrees as Teddy hands her the walkie talkie and requested her to stay away from the walkie talkie while he is on his espionage. She agrees as he exits the vehicle and walks up the steps to the house. But while in the house, Rubén was already in there collecting the files from the safe while reading through them. There is a bang and Rubén reacted to the sound, dropping his flashlight in the process. Teddy immediately heard that and drew his sidearm while Rubén collected his intel and abandoned his flashlight. Rubén moved across the 2nd floor and took cover in another room with his sidearm on standby while Teddy moved up the left set of stairs while watching for any sudden movement on the 2nd floor. Rubén saw he was clear to move and made his way to the right set of stairs and as Teddy made his way to the 2nd floor and moved toward the room with the safe, Rubén saw his lucky break and moved to the first floor. Teddy then enter the room only to discover the safe open with it's contents missing and Rubén's flashlight on the ground. Rubén, now out of the house, was home free as he sprinted away from Avi's home. Teddy then activated his walkie talkie and told Parissa someone was already in the house. Over to the vehicle, Parissa saw Rubén walking past her vehicle with the files in hand and kept her head down, but once Teddy attempted to contact Parissa, Rubén heard it and turned around to see Parissa in the car. With no answer, Teddy immediately knew Parissa was in danger and rushed back down the stairs and out of the house. As he got back out to the streets, he reached the car to find Parissa missing and flipped over the situation.

Gustavo
[]

Oso has arrived at a storage lockup. He pulled up to his storage locker and collected most of his stuff, including the cash from there. He even took a glance at his Oso wrestling cape and closed the door. Oso then loaded up his vehicle with the contents while covering them with a blanket. He then jumped into his truck and prepared to leave the area only to see LAPD patrol cars blocking his path, Oso then hit reverse and as he was backing up, their were patrol cars behind him. He immediately was surrounded by LAPD and agents of the DEA. Gustavo immediately surrendered. He was then ordered to place his hands on the steering as agents pulled him out of the truck and one of them frisked him. Another agent approached, and Oso realized it was Lorena's old handler, Tony Marino, who asked Oso if he recognized him.

Louie
[]

Louie is on the top floor of the parking garage awaiting Franklin who pulls up. Franklin exits the vehicle and offers his gratitude for her showing up. Louie states she learned from Jerome via Cissy about the issue and told Franklin they placed a freeze on all their accounts should that happen to them. Franklin saw that as a smart move. Louie offers her condolences for what Teddy did but claimed there was nothing she could do. Franklin made it clear that Teddy is avoiding him and won't return his pages, but knows Teddy would answer Louie's call, so he told Louie that the next time they make a deal, he would like to know where and when. Louie refused, stating it was now her turn to take the plug, and wouldn't ruin that chance, especially for her nephew. Franklin then asked Louie what she thinks Teddy would do to her what he did to him. Louie states she'll take her chances. Franklin made it clear he wasn't making a request but a demand, blaming her for the fallout. Louie is beside herself as Franklin accused her of stabbing him in the back and made a deal with the plug, and the fact that Teddy robbed him as punishment for leaving the game. Louie states it clear this wasn't her problem, then Franklin drew a gun on her, stating otherwise. Disgusted with her nephew, Louie asked Franklin if he was really going to shoot her. Franklin states he would kill her 10 times over just to get his money back and demands she make the call immediately. Franklin then gets a gun to the back of the head and it's Beau Buckley demanding he drops the weapon. Franklin then lowers the gun, then Louie approaches and takes the weapon from Franklin. Beau then asked Louie if he wanted him to off Franklin, instead Louie told Franklin he'd let him leave out of respect for Jerome, making it known she was officially cutting ties with Franklin, but warned she would kill him should they ever cross paths again. Both Louie and Beau return to their vehicle, leaving Franklin in the dust.

Veronique
[]

Back home, Franklin is speaking to Veronique, showing he would understand if she needed to relocate until the dust settled, for he was planning some scorched earth tactics that moment out, letting her know he was out of options. Veronique asked if he needed assistance but Franklin refused her offer with what he had in mind. Franklin told Veronique he made a promise to her for a certain kind of life which he planned to make happen. He placed his forehead into hers and told her he loved her, and Veronique does the same in return as he departs. Veronique returned back into the house and took a seat. She glanced at the phone and picked it up, then dialed the number. She spoke to someone on the phone and told the mystery person it's been a while. She tells the caller she is in LA and in a pickled, then requested some help. The question is... who did she call?

Franklin
[]

He asked if the car for their job was clean and Black Diamond stated it was. Franklin then told them if they were having second thoughts about what they were prepared to do, they should speak up. They both decided 'Fuck it!' and drove down the road.

Rubén
[]

Rubén was back in the safehouse with the intel he needed for his employers and Avi pointed out he was holding user end certificates, payment logs, shipping manifests, all pointing to Teddy McDonald. Rubén was pleased with what he needed until Avi told him there was more information, and all Rubén had to do was untie him. Rubén decides to remove his restraints which Avi groaned after feeling the ropes loosen. Avi then informed Rubén that Teddy doesn't work for the CIA anymore, and is only a contractor, so if anything was to go sideways, the CIA wouldn't be to blame. He broke it to Rubén that he and his KGB friends would have to figure out a way to put the pieces together and he offered assistance. Instead, Rubén shot Avi in the ribs. Avi immediately began sputtering and gagging as Rubén stared him down. Avi slowly got up and began singing in Hebrew as loud as he could. Rubén then fired another shot and Avi collapsed dead to the ground. Jacob enter with some sleeper agents and ask Rubén if Avi was useless for info. Rubén flat out stated he couldn't trust him and asked his boss to inform the Center. Ruben then walked and Jacob followed with the files, ordering his men to clean up a dead Avi who is dead on the floor with blood flowing from the gunshot on his cheek.

One of then was still alive until Franklin walked to the entrance and finished off the survivor with a headshot, then marched inside with Black Diamond and Dallas following behind. Inside the club, Franklin used a battering ram to bust open a door to Louie's secret room stashed with money and kilos. Both mercenaries were impressed with the load she had as they opened up their duffel bags. Franklin also pointed out that wasn't even half of what they had as they loaded the money. Next stop was Jerome's warehouse as Franklin ordered Black Diamond to pull over. Franklin hopped out and told the guards at the door to relax. They noticed it was Franklin, who made a fib about Jerome and Louie sending him until he drew his pistol and killed them both. Inside they rolled open a steel door discovered the cash and coke count was more than double what they found at Louie's. The trio entered the room.

He then made it clear that despite all that, it got him to his current point. He calmed himself and told Cissy he would understand if she could not be apart of what's to come next. Franklin even showed he appreciated everything she has done for him and did her best, but she was not to blame for what he's become.
