Summary[]
Leon[]
There is a Family meeting at the warehouse and Renny just entered the building. Louie asked if Kane mentioned anything. Franklin tells her and Jerome thathe says he won't make the same mistake next time. Jerome then asked Franklin about Peaches and Franklin states he was just in it for the money and nothing else. He alerts the entire Family he hired Top Notch to bring in some folks to pin his location. Louie then asks how they plan to retaliate against Kane. Leon tells them they don't, at least not yet. Jerome is dissatisfied with that answer and Leon reminds the crew the Kane is an OG with heavy connections, therefore any move against him is an act of war. Jerome clarifies they are already at war and Louie suggests hitting Kane to the point where his crew couldn't hit back. Leon knew what Louie suggest and blatantly states they were not hiring her detective on the take to kill the man that groomed Franklin and Leon for the streets. Louie points out that he almost killed them all. Leon states he'll deal with Kane and give him 2 options, either help him fix his broken family or he will personally wipe out his crew. Louie is confused and Leon points out that Kane has legitimate beef. Jerome states they have the same after the drive-by's. Leon reminds the Family that Kane's little brother is dead because of them, let alone, they never looked after his family. Louie then turned to Franklin and points out his silence in the matter. Franklin states that he and Leon discussed this during the drive and acknowledged that he was aware of Kane's actions and knows who was in the crosshairs. He states if anyone did exactly what Kane did, they would all be six feet under along with anyone associated with them. He then clarified this was Kane they were talking about which is a delicate situation for him. He then clarifies he can trust Leon in talking down Kane and suggests giving him the chance. Jerome is not pleased with Franklin and Leon's decision and suggests while they do that, he'll search down Peaches and then Kane is next as he attempts to leave. Leon stops him and points that this is more that just about Kane, but the possibility of a body count of black folks in the streets, stating it would be their own people killing each other. Jerome ignores Leon and leaves the warehouse and Louie asks what would be the outcome if the talk fails. Leon makes it clear once more that he'll take care of everything. Louie then takes off.
Parissa[]
Back at Parissa's house, Parissa gives Gustavo a look at his injuries he received in Bell Gardens and asks Teddy if she needed to give it another look at his face and Teddy suggested he is fine while throwing on his coat. She looks to Gustavo and states that should he leave right away, his stitches wouldn't hold. Oso approaches Teddy, who then gives Gustavo the order to move the kilos in his trunk, noting that they are stashed in the kitchen. Parissa then points out Oso is risking an infection. Teddy then hands Parissa her payment and thanks her. She checks the bag to see her payment as Teddy approaches the door. Parissa then alerts Teddy that she looked inside his wallet while he was out cold and discovered his name is Theodore, not Thomas. Teddy was very blindsided with the fact that Parissa went threw his things without his knowledge. Parissa clarifies she prefers that name and how it suits as Teddy throws on his sunglasses. Teddy then departs.
Franklin[]
Franklin is now at West-Side Development and approaches Veronique who is on the phone and finishes. They both enter the office and Franklin asks if she showed the folks they were buying the property from proof of funds. Veronique states she did but points out they could care less and states how unprofessional it is for them to request an extension. She then warns Franklin that if they miss the next deadline, they'll reopen the bid and will not include them. Franklin asked where his mother is at, pointing out she is suppose to be dealing with the bankers. Veronique states she is having coffee with a friend as she believes. Franklin is curious to know who and Veronique states she'll deal with the bankers and work the phone. Franklin sees something off with Veronique and asks if she is alright and Veronique states she is just experiencing cramps. Franklin is then asking if she needs him to call a doctor and Veronique refuses the request claiming she already made that call. Franklin's pager goes off and asked what the doctor said as he shrugged of the beeping. Veronique states that what she learned about the 10-12 week timeline for pregnancy is considered a delicate one which they need to wait out. Franklin asked what she meant by delicate and Veronique clarifies that after 12 weeks there would be less chances of a miscarriage. Franklin is baffled and gets Veronique to take a seat. His pager continues to beep as Veronique states they need to let fade take it's course. Franklin continues to ignore the pager as he is wondering what Veronique meant by that. Veronique states she has plenty to deal with as it is. The beeping pager takes it's toll on Veronique as she is wondering who is trying to contact Franklin. He states it's Teddy and Veronique made a smart mouth comment of Teddy possibly gonna kill him once their transactions are finished. Franklin points out to Veronique that she is starting to sound like his mother. Veronique expressed her offense to Franklin, who made it known he knows about the conversations they had about the life he lives. Veronique refuses to hear more as she reminds Franklin the deal she worked hard for is slipping past them while the pager continues to go off. She then suggests Franklin deals with his mess and she can take care of the rest. She then walks off and Franklin continues to hear his pager go off.
Teddy[]
Teddy and Oso are waiting in their vehicle in a parking garage and Teddy is curious to know how the drive-by shooters knew all 3 locations, especially the drop, if there wasn't a turncoat. Gustavo has no answer for him except for he went to the nightclub and left with Xiamara to fix his injuries. He points out that Cissy just cleaned up his wounds as Franklin pulls up and exits with his new bodyguard. Teddy and Oso hop out as well. Franklin sees Teddy struggling to get out of his vehicle while his bodyguard heads to the trunk and asked who got the worst of it in a drive-by. Oso then heads to the trunk and Teddy demands to know what happened. Franklin states it was Peaches that screwed them over and it was an inside job. Teddy then asked why he didn't see that coming and Franklin clarified that no one saw it happening while his bodyguard brings Teddy the duffel bag of cash. Teddy finds the situation sloppy and Franklin states the problem is being taken care of. Teddy then asks about the new bodyguard Franklin brought with him. Franklin states his new muscle is ex-Mossad and he is increasing the security. Teddy, who is unnerved, asked if the new muscle could spot a tail, or has training in counterintelligence, then asks the bodyguard what his background is. Franklin makes it clear this was his mess which he accepts the burden for and promises to fix it. Teddy makes it clear that he can no longer trust that decision any longer and declares some changes must be made going forward. First decision is he'll set the meets from there on out and set the time and location. His second order is for Franklin to show up alone. Franklin tells Teddy he'll need security and Teddy states he is his security. Franklin then suggests sending Oso and he can send one of his crewmembers. Teddy then goes and states those were not his orders and his screw-up got him shot. Teddy then further clarifies that he will state how it goes down from there on out as Franklin stares at Teddy's wounded shoulder. Teddy then points out the real estate business Franklin is running is making himself too notable for him, wondering if the city gave Franklin a golden goose. Franklin states it is a legit business he built from his mother's company. Teddy then points out Cissy being back from Cuba which was never part of their deal. Franklin clarifies that his mother and the real estate business is not connected to the issue at hand, but Teddy disagrees as he snaps out how everything is connected, demanding Franklin to use his eyes and states that one wrong person that could connect Franklin's real estate business to Teddy's operations could jeopardize everything and end it all. He then demands Franklin to pull out of the deal he set in motion. Franklin states it's too late to do that and would draw even more attention. Teddy then tells Franklin not to do anymore high-profile buys, but could care less if he wanted to buy up the ghetto. Teddy then states that Franklin is not to make another move that could draw attention to the both of them. Franklin acknowledges him and returns to his vehicle, silently calling him a "motherfucker".

Dr. Evans then asked Jerome if he hit a wall or a face, pointing out the 2 metacarpals Jerome broke in his wrist. Jerome states it was a face. Dr. Evans tells Jerome he'll need to splint the hand and wrap it up. Oakley then tells Jerome he was with him a week prior. Jerome then asks if he knew where Peaches would go, stating his family may be worried about him. Oakley then suggests he ma know of a place and could show Jerome the location. The counselor then calls for Oakley out of his office and Oakley requests a moment. Kane agreed as he referred to him as "Raging, lawless Leon" and showed he was surprised Leon got out of Wayside.
