Pedro Nava is a member of the Villanueva Cartel. He is the secodary antagonist for the Villanueva Storyline in both Seasons 1 and 2.
Biography[]
He is the cousin of Lucia Villanueva, and they had a plan to start operating a cocaine empire outside the Cartel, especially with the money he and Lucia hired El Oso to steal from his father, Ramiro. He grew increasingly jealous of Gustavo whenever he was with Lucia, believing her would be left in the dust of the operations and confessed to his father that he helped steal the money, which also resulted in Max's death, causing Lucia to lose her position of power in the business and making Gustavo a marked man. After Lucia set up his father to be killed by Los Monarcas at Mauricio's funeral, he fled. In Season 2, he became an informant for the DEA, with the help of Lorena Cardenas, a DEA agent who masqueraded as his fiancé, Soledad. He was later outed as a rat and killed by Lucia.
Legacy[]
Pedro was shown to lean on his father's shoulder should things not go his way, especially with the chemistry building between Lucia and Oso as they were working the cocaine game. He even shown he would rather see the Cartel crumble than to see Lucia in charge and was willing to sacrifice the family over to the DEA, fearing Lucia would find out. That nightmare became a reality once Lucia confronted Pedro about his so-called fiancé and was met with lead after being discovered as a rat.
