Louie
[]

Louie was back home bagging up some cash in some duffel bags for another drop. She then exited her bedroom with the said duffel bags, climbed down the stairs, and exited her home, handing the duffel bags to her bodyguard, stating she would need five minutes as she returned back into her home while the guard loaded the bags of cash in her car. As she was climbing back up the stairs, she received a page and bolted up the stairs to her phone. She then made the phone call and it was Franklin warning her of a DEA raid about to happen, making it clear she was under their microscope. All the while, law enforcement rolled up outside her house, and detained the bodyguards who were outside her vehicle. She then stepped out onto her balcony to see that the DEA and the cops have swarmed of the house, and Franklin on the phone, urged her to get out of there. The phone conversation came to an end, and as SWAT was prepared to breach the house, Louie went out the back way crossing through the tennis court. She immediately went over a brick wall as she made her way to the back alley and went around a German Shepherd that was barking at her while chained to a fence. As SWAT completely swarmed her home, she made her way to the street and continued running.

Teddy
[]

Franklin and Oso are back at Franklin's new stash house. Franklin then opened the trunk of his car, and inside was Teddy and Rubén who were bound and gagged. Franklin then reached inside for Teddy. Soon enough Teddy brought in a secluded room and Oso chained Teddy in a chair and cuffed both his feet together. Franklin then walked in ad removed the duct tape from Teddy's face. Now able to speak, Teddy urged Franklin not to pursue this path. Teddy then stated that whacking his father was bad enough, but throwing his lot in with the Soviet Union would bring the U.S. Federal Government to hunt him and his family down to the ends of the earth. Franklin then made it known that he knew Teddy was already fired from the CIA while tossing some of Teddy's fake around. Franklin then turned around, placed his pager on a table, and told Teddy the banks would open up in the morning and he'd let him sit in that chair till they open, giving him an opportunity to think on whether or not he wanted to live. He then warned Teddy that he was to either make the transfer or die. Teddy then urged Franklin to be sensible for he could not kill the one guy that had what Franklin needed. Franklin stated that he was beyond sensible, described how he found Teddy's dad, stabbed him in the neck, burned down the house he was in, then sought help from the KGB, and now has Teddy chained in his basement. Franklin then told Teddy how he kept waking up in the middle of the night having anxieties from the night terrors, and claimed that he was no longer sensible. Franklin then placed a gurney bag over Teddy and leaned over to his face, stating they're at a new phase.

Franklin
[]

Franklin returned back to his vehicle to pull out Rubén, whose duct tape was coming undone from his face, urging Franklin that he could still help him get what he wanted. Franklin then broke it to Rubén that he had what he needed. Rubén then suggested otherwise as Franklin ignored him and Oso closed the trunk of the car. They were later in the stash house and as Oso was chaining up Rubén, Franklin went over some ground rules, stating that if they kept quiet, they wouldn't be gagged again. Franklin then told Teddy and Rubén that if they needed to use the restroom, they should just go, since no one would be taking them to the restroom or unchaining them under any circumstances. Franklin then warned them that if they mess around, there would be trouble. A phone rang, and Rubén tried to convince Franklin otherwise as Oso bagged his head with a gurney bag and closed the gate. Franklin then picked up and it was Veronique. Franklin then told Vee the plot worked and he got Teddy. He then told Vee that there was nothing she could do and asked her to get some sleep, stating they'll see each other on the next morning. Franklin then told Veronique that they're close and told he that he loved her. The phone call ended. Franklin then opened the exit door to find Cissy and Leon outside and invited them in.

Cissy
[]

After being let in by Franklin, they learned that Teddy and Rubén were held there and they were shackled and bagged together. Concerned they were in the same room, Cissy suggested they could be talking together and plotting something. Oso then called for Franklin, who stated he would get to him and asked Leon that if he was good to move Rubén into the garage once he and Gustavo left. Leon said he would and as Franklin and Oso went to the vehicle, Cissy then asked where he was going. Franklin stated that he made a promise and planned to keep it, stating he would be back shortly.

Beau
[]

It is the middle of the night and Buckley has arrived outside a deli. He pulled up near the dumpsters and with his headlights on, he spotted Louie hiding in the area. Louie then bolted to Beau's car and hopped inside while ducking down to avoid being seen. As they were riding down the street, Beau asked if Louie knew how long the law was onto her, and Louie stated she had no idea. Beau then asked if Franklin said anything about being involved himself. Louie then accused Franklin of waiting until she helped him to alert her and stated there was no mention of Beau, who in turn, saw he was in the clear. Beau then stated he was in a tight spot and asked her what the plan was, asking if she had some money stashed away somewhere. Louie then stated that she had a house near Ojai, with some cash stash and fake passports, stating they could disappear. Beau then asked how much money she had stashed and Louie stated there was nearly a million hidden away. Beau then told Louie that he wanted half otherwise she was on her own. Louie, under pressure, told Beau to get her out of town and she'd agree to his price.

Rubén
[]

Back at the stash house, Rubén, still chained to his chair and bagged, is pulled into the garage by Leon and said Cissy's name, while stating he recognized the perfume. He then requested a word, stating the Franklin was in a lot of trouble. Cissy sent Leon away and after Leon exited, she removed the gurney bag from Rubén's head. Rubén thanked her while stating he knew that she and her family had gone through hell and the fact that she maybe frustrated by his lack of progress. Cissy then accused Rubén of betraying her and manipulating her as well as her son. Rubén then claimed that he had his orders from the top and could not just freelance. He then told Cissy that the KGB had tapes of Franklin and stated there was a tape recorder sewn into the bottom of his briefcase. He informed Cissy that he had every detail and conversation recorded and now the tapes were in possession of the Center. Rubén then warned Cissy that if he didn't check in with his superiors within 24 hours, the tapes would be sent to the international press and claimed the tapes would destroy the Saint Family. Rubén then claimed he did not want that and urged her to free him while offering to interrogate Teddy for the answers she wanted. He then suggested turning Teddy over to him once she had what she wanted and would put an end to the chaos for the Saints.

Cissy
[]

After facing Rubén, Cissy was fixating on what he said, not sure if she'd believe him or not. Leon then approached and asked what Rubén was like. Cissy stated that he'll tell someone what they wanted to hear and does the opposite. Leon then asked what would happen had Cissy did as Rubén requested and turned over Teddy. Cissy then told Leon that she would lose Franklin. Cissy then headed to the room where Teddy was held and Leon called for her, curious to know what she was doing. Cissy then approached Teddy and removed his gurney bag from his head. She then sat on a chair behind her and Teddy addressed her as Ms. Saint and Cissy corrected him, stating it was Mrs. Saint. Exhausted, Teddy stated he believed he heard Franklin leaving, claiming it wasn't a good idea to leave her with him and Rubén. Cissy then demanded to know what happened with Alton, with a promise to end the suffering he was sure to endure. Teddy then admitted to having the money in his possession, claiming the stash house would not be his tomb. He then suggested to Cissy to release him, stating he could clean up her mess. Cissy then told Teddy that the KGB wanted her to hand him over and Teddy stated that siding with the KGB would get her nowhere, let alone place a target on her back. Cissy then asked Teddy if he had any sympathy for destroying her family to killing her husband and tearing up her community. She then asked Teddy if he understood the pain and suffering he caused or if her community and family were expendable. Teddy then asked what pain and suffering he caused. Cissy then stated how Teddy was a government agent who poisoned her community with cocaine. Teddy then asked Cissy if he was the one converting it into crack or slinging it on the streets or if he was forcing someone to smoke it at gunpoint. Teddy then told Cissy not to blame him because there were folks who didn't have the self-control to ruin their lives. He then asked Cissy what she was doing besides laundering Franklin's dirty cash and building his empire. Cissy paused for a moment and decided she was done with Teddy and as she was about to bag his head, Teddy stopped her, asking her if she really wanted to know about Alton's fate. Cissy stated she did, but regardless of how Alton died, there was nothing to be done. She then told Teddy that she would find comfort knowing he would die in that basement and he would never harm her family again. Just as Cissy was prepared to bag him, Teddy made a claim that Alton was alive. Cissy wasn't buying it but Teddy asked if she saw a body, or blood, or signs of a fight. Teddy told her that he watched her leave the apartment complex and drugged him in the apartment. He then stated how he flew Alton to Puerto Rico and placed him in a jail cell. Cissy called Teddy a liar while Teddy continued to claim that Alton still lived. He then asked her if she wanted to see him and Cissy struck him with the gurney bag. As Cissy was leaving the room, she saw Leon who was eavesdropping and told him to bag Teddy's head.

Franklin
[]

Franklin and Oso have arrived in an unknown destination by private jet. They landed on the TARMAC and exited the plane. They both shook hands bidding each other farewell and Gustavo requested for to promise that Teddy wouldn't live to come after him or his family. Franklin declared his promise and offered his hopes that he would find them. Gustavo then patted Franklin's shoulder and thanked him. As Oso turned around and straightened his coat, Franklin asked what was next for him, whether or not he'd go back to wrestling again. Oso giggled and told Franklin he was retired from lucha libre. Franklin then suggested going under a new name and as Gustavo continued on, he suggested being called 'The Saint'! Gustavo waved him good-bye and as Franklin was about to hop onto his jet, he murmured out Oso's name and boarded his plane.

Louie
[]

As they were driving out of the city, Beau then asked Louie what convinced her to get a place in the middle of nowhere. Louie then told Beau that she and Jerome were looking for properties to stash some money and heard a rumor from the equestrian center about the area. Beau then told Louie he needed to take a piss and parked his vehicle near a vacant park. He then hopped out of the vehicle and went behind a tree to take a leak while Louie was scuffling through his car. Beau then lit up a cigarette as he was peeing and Louie exited the vehicle. After Buckley finished urinating, he motioned toward his car and saw Louie standing in front of him with his gun in her hand. Beau then asked what Louie was doing and Louie demanded his pager. Beau was befuddled and Louie demanded his pager once more. Beau wasn't in the mood and demanded his weapon, yet Louie then pointed his gun at him and Beau tossed his pager over to her. She then ordered Beau to get on the ground and put his hands on his hand. Beau then complied as he placed his hands on his head and got on his knees. Louie then checked Beau's pager and found Skully's home number saved on it. Louie soon realized that Beau lied to her and called him out, making it clear that Jerome did page him at Skully's the day Kane had her abducted. She snapped at him, demanding to know what was going on, that if he was too high to answer back or not. Beau then continued to deny Jerome paging him and Louie demanded his car keys while firing a warning shot. Beau then called Louie insane and refused to tossed her his keys. Louie then warned Beau that the next shot she'd fire would go into Buckley's head if he didn't surrender his keys and Beau just relinquished his car keys to her. He then asked her if there really was a house in Ojai or money to collect. Louie ignored him as she demanded Beau to lie face down on the ground and not move until she was gone. Knowing Louie was serious, Beau did just that as Louie bolted back to his car and drove off.

Franklin
[]

Franklin returned back to the stash house and entered the room he had Teddy held in. Franklin then removed his jacket, put away his pistol, and removed the gurney bag from Teddy's head, telling him it was morning and asking how he felt. Teddy then requested some water as he was dehydrated. Franklin went to the sink and filled up a glass. He then brought the glass to Teddy and as Teddy was prepared to sip from the glass, Franklin pulled the glass away telling him that he'll have all the water he wanted in exchange that Franklin got the account numbers. Instead, Teddy wanted to know what Franklin offered Oso in exchange for his betrayal, and Franklin stated Gustavo took far less than what Franklin originally offered as he sipped on the water. Teddy then stated how Franklin had been gone for a few hours and suggested they went south of the border. Franklin then poured the glass of water on the ground as Teddy pointed out how they may have landed in Northern Mexico. Franklin then demanded Teddy to stop stalling and Teddy urged Franklin to see him in his shoes, asking if he was willing to part with the only leverage he had. Franklin reminded Teddy that he was already there that day when Teddy struck Franklin's car, tased him, and tied him up. Franklin then stated how he believed all that time why he kidnapped him and not properly introduced himself stating how he wanted to be in business. Teddy then stated how he wanted Franklin to be prepared for what was coming and to see if he was strong enough. Franklin wasn't buying it and accused Teddy of playing him from the beginning, for starters, taking him to the Iranian-owned bank and pretending to help him only to know where Franklin was holding his money. Franklin then accused Teddy of the same game he played with Cissy over the situation with Alton. Teddy claimed it wasn't a hoax, and Franklin grabbed Teddy by the chin, stating it didn't matter as he could care less about Alton. Franklin then turned around to collect his pistol and told Teddy he had one chance to turn over the account numbers. Teddy then became sny and told Franklin he didn't memorize the numbers and Franklin demanded to know where Teddy kept them. Teddy remained silent and Franklin jumped forward, warning Teddy that he was trying to get into his head on how desperate he was. He then opened up the cartridge of his revolver and dropped all the bullets on the ground. He then picked up one of the bullets and loaded it in the revolver. Franklin then told Teddy that he hoped it wouldn't be too late before he believed him as he locked the cartridge in the revolver and put in barrel in Teddy's face. Teddy then asked Franklin how he'd know he wouldn't kill him if he talked and Franklin pulled the trigger. No gunfire, yet Teddy flipped out. Franklin then told him that it was no surprise that chamber was empty and now Teddy's odds were shorter. Teddy then warned Franklin that if he killed him, he'd get nothing, yet Franklin claimed he would know of Teddy's death for he'd be the one to kill him. Franklin then pointed the gun at Teddy once more and pulled the trigger. No bullet and Teddy still freaked out urging Franklin to stop. Franklin then told Teddy that his chances of survival were getting slimmer. Teddy then called Franklin's bluff, claiming he wouldn't risk losing his chance to reclaim his money and asked if Franklin loaded blanks in the revolver. Franklin then pointed the gun to the ceiling and pulled the trigger. The gun went off and pieces of the ceiling fell over them and Franklin stated he wasn't bluffing. Teddy then told Franklin he was out of his mind. Cissy then appeared and Franklin stated he was out of his mind as he collected the other five bullets and loaded them, then pointed the gun at Teddy once more. Cissy then told Franklin that was enough. Franklin then lowered his weapon as Teddy glared at him. Franklin then bent over giving Teddy a good stare, showing he wasn't done yet, and exited the room.

Cissy
[]

After exiting the basement, Franklin asked Cissy and Leon why he was pulled out of there stating how close he was to breaking Teddy. Franklin then told his mother that he needed to continue on Teddy, since he didn't want to die in there. Cissy then urged Franklin to let this go and Franklin was oblivious to that suggestion. She then suggested that he hand Teddy over to Rubén and let the KGB deal with it. She then suggested getting the tapes and leaving the States. Franklin then asked what Cissy was saying and Cissy her worry and concern as to what the game had done to them. She told her son that revenge was all she thought about and as she broke a cry, Cissy told Franklin about his obsession with money and asked him to see what they were becoming. Franklin was astonished to see Cissy didn't have her heart in it as he stated they weren't the first people to play dirty stating there were other killers over the course of history and Cissy told him that she didn't want to be a killer nor did she want that for her son. Franklin then told Cissy that it was too late and Cissy refused to accept that. Cissy then urged Franklin to let it go and flee but Franklin, who was outraged, just ignored her and smacked a bunch of books to the floor. Leon then stopped Franklin and told him that he agreed with Cissy, that he was around Franklin his whole life and believed him for how driven he was for this. He then urged Franklin not to go to the point of no return. Leon expressed his fear that Franklin would lose his soul in the process of revenge. Franklin then took a moment and made it very clear to Cissy and Leon that he had no intention of caving. Franklin then told them he would reclaim his fortune and that everyone had a breaking point. He then grabbed his revolver and returned back into the basement.

Veronique
[]

As Franklin was resting on his bed, Veronique entered with a bag and Franklin draw his pistol in her direction, unaware it was Veronique, who then panicked. Franklin apologized for frightening her and asked if she was okay. She then told Franklin that she received a call from the bank, telling him their check from the downtown property bounced. Vee then told Franklin that she told the bank that it was just a transfer error and had them put a stop on all other payments. She then warned Franklin that they were running on empty, stating they could afford to fall behind on the other properties, but as for the downtown place, she then stated that once they miss their first payment, that would be it. She then stated that the banks would relieve Franklin of his ownership of the Downtown Property. She then told Franklin that they're short of friends and they needed to get the money back immediately. Franklin then told Vee he was doing everything he could, and Veronique pulled out a bottle of corn oil from the paper bag she brought in.

Franklin
[]

Veronique and Franklin later appeared back in the basement and Vee removed the gurney bag from Teddy's head. As Franklin started up the stove, Vee introduced herself. She then told Teddy how her mother never cooked nor would she go near a stove, claiming that in the past she thought it was a feminist thing since she was that type of woman, and told him the truth of how she was a young girl and her grandmother was cooking Christmas dinner and there was a grease fire in the kitchen. She then asked Teddy if he ever saw what hot oil did to human skin. While Teddy was silence, Vee stated she never did but it was horrendous enough to scare Cassandra from cooking in the kitchen and urged Teddy to give Franklin what he wanted. Veronique went into the other room and Teddy told Franklin that she seemed nice. Teddy then reminded Franklin of a question he asked when he was willing to kill his entire family just to preserve the op. Franklin then wanted Teddy to admit stealing from him was a mistake and demanded his money returned to him. Teddy then told Franklin he couldn't do that, for he made promises. Franklin then approached Teddy and told him that he didn't care about the promises he made. Franklin then looked at the boiling pot on the stove and offered Teddy one more chance to give up the money. Teddy would not budge and Franklin immediately ripped open Teddy's buttoned shirt and approached the stove. Franklin threw on a glove to protect his hand and picked up the pot. Teddy then urged Franklin to reconsider as Franklin spat in the boiling corn oil, which sizzled. Teddy then begged Franklin not to do it as Franklin approached Teddy with the pot. Teddy then implored Franklin not to do it and Franklin told Teddy he forced him into it. Franklin then grabbed Teddy by the hair, pulled his head back, and poured the hot corn oil onto his chest. Teddy screamed as the oil sizzled onto his skin and Teddy felt the unbearable oil torching his torso, even Rubén, could hear Teddy screaming in agony. Veronique in the next room as Teddy's agonizing growls fluttered the building.

Stephen
[]

Agent Havemeyer is at Teddy's warehouse searching for Teddy and going through some clues discovering a mess in the place. He then heard a door open a spotted Parissa entering the place. Knowing she was looking for Teddy, Stephen broke it to her that he wasn't there. He then asked her when she last heard from Teddy and Parissa asked if he was the handler. Stephen then urged Parissa to remember any details of the last time she spoke with Teddy and Parissa stated it was the prior morning and told him how Teddy proposed to her. Parissa then told Stephen how Teddy was concerned about the situation involving Franklin and the KGB. She then asked Havemeyer if Teddy was alright.

Teddy
[]

Back at the stash house, Franklin was pouring more corn oil into the pot and Teddy, whose entire upper body was burned, blistered open, and building welts, was hesitating on his breathing. Franklin turned around and Teddy called him an animal. Franklin then stated to Teddy that he turned him into one. Franklin then sat on the ground and asked Teddy why after every he did for him did he clean him out. Teddy, still struggling after the torture, ripped Franklin for still believing it was about him, while stating what that money could do as covert funds. Teddy then stated he wasn't speaking about airplanes and expensive homes, but protecting the United States from those who would destroy it, naming Franklin and his family for starters. He then asked Franklin if didn't believe there would be costs and Franklin just stopped him, stating he knew of the Pentagon spending an annual $250 billion on defense, while accusing Teddy of stealing a much smaller amount. Franklin then demanded the truth about why Teddy stole his money. Teddy lashed out at Franklin claiming it was never his money, stating it was his cocaine and his op. Teddy then told Franklin that he molded him into the man he was today and what Franklin had was with Teddy's blessing. Teddy then made it clear he'd do it again just to preserve America's way of life. Franklin now realized they were finally getting somewhere and asked Teddy if he though for a moment what that'd do to him and what he'd do just to get it returned to him. Teddy claimed he believe he would accept the consequences and Franklin stated the consequences were there. Franklin then returned to the stove and pulled out his lighter to start up the stove. He then placed the pot of corn oil on the stove to boil. Franklin then told Teddy how he never got any respect from him or saw him as a partner, yet Franklin said he felt that way for Teddy, calling him his friend one time, but now could see the truth of the situation. Franklin then pulled up a chair in front of Teddy and stated it wasn't about him, but about the money, and what he became or did just to acquire it. Franklin then told Teddy he didn't want to hear the God & Country talk from him, stating that the fact that Teddy completely depleted Franklin's account meant it was all about Teddy. Franklin then asked why Teddy took it all and not left some money in the accounts, stating he could have left him at least $5 million as well as a 'Thank You For Your Service'. Franklin admitted he would have hunted down Teddy, but know he valued everything Franklin did for him. Franklin then accused Teddy of cleaning him out just to show who was in charge and show those who was the hero in the story. Franklin then talked of how in some stories, the guy that looked like Teddy would always win. Franklin then told Teddy that the story would have a different ending, promising Teddy that he would die in that basement by himself, with no star for him at Langley, and the fact that his father and brother wouldn't be there to mourn him. Franklin then told Teddy his story would end with no dent in history. Teddy then finally admitted how he wanted to hurt Franklin and when Franklin asked why, Teddy stated it was because he walked away. Infuriated by that answer, Franklin went to grab his glove and as he was going to check on the pot, Teddy suggested they split the money. Teddy stated he couldn't just fork all of it back like that but could split it down to half. Franklin then told Teddy he wasn't in the position to negotiate. Teddy is then offering Franklin a chance for them both to walk away with a small fortune and never see each other again. Franklin agreed to Teddy's proposal, knowing it was better than nothing, but made it clear to Teddy that he was free until Franklin got his half and he was clear of the CIA. Teddy then told Franklin he could get his money into an escrow account and do it there by phone. He then told Franklin they could decide on a handoff in a public and secure place where he'd make the final transfer. Franklin then asked what would happen afterwards, especially with the conflict brewing between them. Teddy stated that he was already done dealing with Franklin and had something else to live for. Franklin then requested the account numbers. Teddy then told Franklin it was in his wallet.

Franklin
[]

Franklin is in the next room checking an ID from Teddy's wallet. He removed Teddy's ID from a see-through sleeve and placed the sleeve in a metal tray. With Vee and Leon watching, he mixed a chemical in a spray bottle and sprayed the chemical on the sleeve revealing 4 sets of account numbers. Franklin soon realized he was closer than before to reclaiming his fortune. Franklin later called Havemeyer, Teddy's handler, and Stephen wanted to know who was calling him. Franklin didn't provide his name, calling himself a friend of Teddy's. Franklin then told Havemeyer that Teddy requested that he reach out to him and arrange a time and place to drop him off. Havemeyer then told Franklin he wasn't budging until he knew who he was talking to. Franklin then made it clear that Stephen was aware of who he was communicating with and told him this was Teddy's request and it was up to Havemeyer, but warned he'd not only lose his chance of getting Teddy back, but would lose out on a chance to nabbing a KGB spy. Franklin and Leon then approached Veronique and Cissy in the office and Cissy was in disbelief that Franklin would make a deal, resulting in Teddy's freedom. Franklin then told his mother that he'll be trading Teddy over to the CIA and it would end. Cissy told Franklin that even if he accepted the deal from the CIA, Teddy would never stop hunting them. Franklin stated he was willing to take the risk as long as he retrieved half his fortune. Cissy then warned Franklin that he, Vee, and his unborn child would never be safe. As Vee was about to back Franklin, Cissy told her to shut up and asked her son if this was his final decision, let alone where his allegiance lied. Franklin then showed that he made up his mind. Cissy then told Franklin that she didn't want Leon or Vee at the handoff and stated she'll accompany Franklin to make sure the CIA don't waste him. Cissy then told Franklin that once all that's done, she would be finished with him, for they'd go their separate ways and never see each other again. Cissy then asked Franklin if he could live with that. Franklin stated he could and Cissy walked off. Franklin is later entering the garage where Rubén was still held and as Franklin opened the garage door, Leon brought in Teddy and approached the vehicle.

Cissy
[]

Cissy is driving down the road, with Franklin and Teddy in the backseat, still distraught by the fact that her son would make a deal with the person who made her disappear. Franklin noticed that Cissy was staring at him in the rearview mirror and asked what it is and Cissy just drove on. They arrived at a public area and Franklin pulled Teddy out of the backseat, who was still injured from the tortured. Franklin then zipped up Teddy's coat to cover the burn scars on his chest, warning him that he wasn't home free just yet. They went further in the area, as Franklin and Cissy were keeping an eye out for any undercover agents in the area. They then crossed a pedestrian bridge going over Los Angeles street. Havemeyer immediately spotted them as they crossed over the pedestrian bridge. Still watching for any CIA surprise, they made it to the payphones. Havemeyer then approached Franklin and Cissy and introduced himself. Havemeyer then asked Teddy how he was doing and Teddy urged Stephen to get him out of this. Havemeyer then asked Franklin where the spy and Franklin told him that Rubén was at the stash house, in which Stephen stated it wasn't part of the arrangement. Franklin then told Stephen that he didn't know him meaning he couldn't trust him while speaking of how he trusted Teddy until recent events. He then told Stephen that once Teddy made the money transfer and was convinced that Havemeyer won't try to screw him over, he'll agree to turn over the Soviet spy and go their separate ways. Havemeyer then asked Franklin what would happen if he didn't agree with that and Franklin then threatened to contact the FBI and work out a deal with them. Havemeyer then agreed to the demand and Teddy began making the phone call. As he was prepared to make the transfer, Cissy approached Teddy and asked him what prison he sent Alton to. Teddy immediately became annoyed as he told Cissy it was a lie. He then came clean about him shooting Alton dead and dumping the body. Teddy then returned back to his phone call to continue the process. Cissy then walked away from him, now knowing the truth of what happened to Alton. Just as Teddy was about to fulfill the transfer, Cissy turned back around, pulled out her pistol, and shot Teddy multiple times till he hit the ground. People started screaming and running and Franklin completely flipped out. As Havemeyer walked off, Franklin, desperate to retrieve his funds, ran over to Teddy and grabbed the phone telling the person on the line not to hang up. Cissy then threw her hands in the air as Franklin urged Teddy not to fade as he direly needed the password for the transfer. Teddy immediately died on the spot as Franklin was oblivious to how close he was to retrieving a piece of his stolen money. Franklin then turned around as police sirens went off and told Cissy they needed to flee. Cissy, now on her knees with her hands up bid farewell to Franklin, who was now confused and frustrated as he bolted the crime scene. The LAPD immediately responded as an officer ordered Cissy to drop the weapon. Cissy complied and relinquished the gun onto the ground. Cissy was immediately surrounded by the police who found Teddy dead and the payphone beeping going off. One of the cops swept up the murder weapon as another officer began detaining Cissy with the handcuffs. Cissy just stared at Teddy as she was being taken into custody, with some justice for her late husband as the pay phone continued to beep.
