Summary
[]

Teddy
[]

Teddy is asleep in his warehouse office on the sofa when the phone rings. He answers it and it is his father, and Teddy asked how he acquired the number to his satellite phone. The Colonel then breaks it to Teddy that Matt died from a heart attack. Teddy was shocked to hear the news and when he told his father he'll be flying back to Kansas on the next morning, his dad tells him not to bother, for the funeral was the day before and his brother died almost 2 weeks prior. Teddy is even more shocked to learn the news after 2 weeks of no information. The Colonel then pins what happened to Matt on Teddy, stating it should have been him that died. Apparently the relationship between Teddy and his father has gone from bad to worse as the phone conversation ends.

Wanda
[]

Wanda has spent a rough amount of weeks in the hospital, not just to recover from the gunshot wound, but to be detoxed of the crack in her system. Days pass and she struggles, especially with the nurses, knowing there is no rock to get high on. She is sleep deprived, and without an appetite as she tosses her food at the television showing Ronald Reagan making a speech. Whenever she is sleeping, she begins experiencing nightmares like seeing a newborn baby crying with some birth defects. Soon enough the detox begins to take hold of her as she stands toward the window in her room and feels the warmth of the sun.

Franklin
[]

Franklin is at Louie's with Peaches and Franklin forgot the keys to the money room, so Peaches is having to use a bobby pin to pick the lock. Franklin asked if Peaches learned how to pick locks in Nam and Peaches states he learned it back in Chicago. Franklin is now inside the money room loading up for a deal and tells Peaches that after the deal, he needs to collect all of the keys and take them to the stash house. Outside the nightclub, Peaches loads the bag in the trunk and an LAPD squad car rolls up on them as well as Detective Stern, who then clarifies they are looking for Leon. Franklin plays the dumb card, claiming he knows nothing. Stern is not having it as he signals one officer to apprehend Franklin as the other restrains Peaches. Stern then demands the keys to the trunk from Peaches, and Franklin tells Peaches to give him the keys. Peaches throws Stern the keys and Stern opens the trunk to find it empty, except for the base woofers that are installed. Frustrated, Stern tells Franklin that a little girl is dead and someone needs to answer for it as he returns Franklin his keys and the cops leave.

Khadijah
[]

Khadijah is back home as she is holding Tianna's toy doll in her hand and goes through more of her toys while Skully is hanging and graffiti spraying crosses in the apartment. Manboy enters to see the 'redecorating' Skully has done and Khadijah tells her brother that Skully believes God is punishing them after crucifying Bootsy. Skully admits to Manboy that he screwed up and more of his people will be taken if he doesn't repent. Manboy then looks at Khadijah and makes an assuption that Skully must be back on the sherms. Skully then clarifies he isn't high, for they are being judged. Khadijah grows tired of Skully not being of any help and askes what is happening on Manboy's end and Manboy is empty-handed. Khadijah is now impatient with both her husband and brother and Manboy clarifies he'll make Leon pay but she needs to be patient. That answer apparently doesn't fly with Khadijah.

Franklin
[]

Back at the apartment complex, Franklin is checking up on Leon and Franklin tells him they need to give the cops something to get the heat off the Family, for they will continue to pressure them until they make an arrest. Leon offers to turn himself over, but Franklin denies the requests, claiming he'll need him to continue moving the rock. Franklin then signals to Leon that Fatback will take the fall, and that doesn't sit with Leon, knowing he was the one who pulled the trigger. Franklin states that Fatback is a soldier, and offers to take care of his family and have him set once he's out. He also states that the Bloods never should have had that little girl in the car and attempts to convince Leon that the shooting is not on him. Leon, however, disagrees. Franklin then requests for Leon to tell him where Fatback is. Leon is not too happy with the idea of someone else taking the fall for his sins.

Louie
[]

Jerome and Louie have arrived at a mountainous homestead in Little Rock, Arkansas and Jerome is skeptical about setting up a cocaine pipeline in the middle of nowhere. They hop out of the vehicle and Louise is greeted by her pregnant sister, Candy, who then introduces them to her husband, Johnny, who isn't much for introductions. Candy even introduced their daughter, Alisha, to the couple. Louie then points out the other child growing inside Candy, but Candy tells her she ain't pregnant, only for it to be a gag between the 2 of them. Sharles then appears from the house and Candy introduces him as well, but apparently he isn't family. Johnny then tells Sharles to take the kids with him to Mae's place, and Sharles clarifies he isn't a babysitter. Johnny then reminds him that Sharles is sleeping on his sofa in his home, and would lose that privilege should he continue to refuse and Sharles agrees to it, but also requests a taste of whatever product Jerome and Louie brought with them. Everyone else heads in the house.

Franklin
[]

Franklin and Leon are at Fatbacks cousins place and Fatback is enjoying some food brought to him. Franklin then lays it down that the Family needs him to take the fall for the shooting, and tell the cops he was there but C.J. was the shooter. He even agrees to have Roger get him off of a murder charge if he agrees to turn himself over and get the cops off of the family, but may face minor charges in the process. Fatback is uncertain of the idea of being able to get off of murder, claiming he could get 50 years if Roger fails, and child killers don't last long in prison. Leon then sweetens the deal, tells Fatback he has people on the inside that will watch his back, and offers 5 grand for every month he is away plus a quarter million for when he gets out, plus his family will be taken care of. Fatback reluctantly agrees to the offer.

Wanda
[]

Wanda is finally discharged from the hospital and sobered up now that the rock is completely detoxed from her body. She exits the place but now she faces a challenge knowing she is still homeless and how to survive without the rock.

Louie
[]

Jerome is removing a brick from his sound system in the trunk where he had it hidden and Johnny and Candy are surprised by the fact that it's pure. Louie then tells Candy and Johnny that they will show them how to rock it up. Candy has a taste of the pure Colombian brick and she is amazed while Louise is cooking the rock. She then asks why not just sell the blow immediately, and Louie tells her crack is cheaper and more addictive and the margins are better. Louie, of course, wants Candy to pay attention on how to cook crack. When Louie brings up how Candy has her own place, a man of her own, and a beautiful family, Candy points out that half the time, Johnny is on the road half the time and aggravated whenever he is home and can barely provide for his own family. She then points out to Louise she is making bank, especially with no kids of her own and her own nightclub. Louie tells her that she and Jerome discussed it all. Candy then asks about moving the drugs.

Jerome
[]

Jerome and Johnny are having a smoke and discussing who and what to trust in the crack game. Johnny then brings up what he saw on television about the violence in LA ramping up and asks Jerome if they have felt that heat. Jerome didn't have much of an answer aside from making that paper. Johnny asks how Jerome handles it and Jerome offers to show Johnny what he does.

Louie
[]

Louie and Candy have finished making a rock. Candy is not impressed, however, Louie tells her a rock like that will change her life if she plays it straight and does what they tell them to do. They then are startled by the sound of gunfire and soon enough, they see Johnny testing out an Uzi on some empty beer bottles. Louie is somewhat shocked at Jerome for giving Johnny the Uzi but Candy is ecstatic to see her husband with such a weapon.

Franklin
[]

Franklin, Leon, Fatback, and Peaches arrive at the police station and see Roger awaiting them. They tell Fatback they will see him once he's out and Fatback exits the vehicle to turn himself over. Peaches, of course, snaps at the fact that Fatback nearly messed up the shocks on his vehicle. Franklin then gets a page and tells Peaches to get to a payphone.

Louie
[]

At the homestead, everyone is in for the night and Sharles is checking out the merchandise. Louie tells her family as well as Sharles that they can never smoke that if they're is going to be in the game, clarifying that yeyo is okay, rock is not. Sharles then asks how he will sell it if he personally doesn't know what it's like, and Jerome tells him to tell some folks it's better that sex. Louie then warns her family that the rock could hook them like no other drug they've come across, and is much more addictive than heroin. Sharles finds Louie and Jerome to be unfun as he walks away and Jerome clarifies to Johnny and Candy that this game isn't about fun, it's about business. Johnny wants to know exactly what they're dealing with since they claimed they shouldn't smoke the rock as well as supplying them with Uzi's. Candy then stands behind Louie, stating she trusts her and Johnny reminds Candy that she told him Louie was the wild one who got them both in trouble. Candy tells him that was back in their childhood years. Johnny then asks that should he be involved in the rock game, what would be coming for him, and Louie tells him they'll be fine as long as they are smart and follow their instructions. Candy then reminds Johnny that they still have debts to pay and convinces him to get his own rig and they cannot continue to drown they way they are. Johnny reluctantly agrees.

Wanda
[]

Now out of the hospital and fully detoxed, Wanda has stumbled across a homeless encampment. She is now having to face the challenge of surviving as a homeless person, this time, without rock in her system or worrying on whether or not she'll get her next fix. She sees a tented area empty only for the 'owner' to appear and rest there. Wanda then choses a place to rest for the night. She grabs a blanket off the ground to cover herself and uses the bag of her belongings from the hospital as a pillow.

Franklin
[]

Franklin has arrived at Louie's Nightclub to see Teddy at the bar. Tanosse then approaches Franklin, telling him that Teddy was asking for either Louie of Franklin, and that he is out of his mind. Franklin then approaches Teddy, who is a little buzzed from the whiskey and asks him to come up to the office. Instead, Teddy brings up the LAPD being all over the Family, and Franklin has missed some drops, demanding to know what that is all about. Franklin tells him all that is under control. When Teddy brought up how Franklin was ready to hand Leon over to the gangs, Franklin tells Teddy he found an alternative. Teddy, however, chastises Franklin for letting his personal feelings get between him and his business. Franklin tells Teddy that Leon is a brother to him and can't just hand him over. Teddy, still reeling from the news of his brothers death, tells Franklin he's made sacrifices and lost people he cared about. Franklin then suggested to Teddy to head home and rest till he is sober. Teddy then tells Franklin to quit screwing and as he prepares to leave, he lets Franklin know that everybody in the business is replaceable. Teddy then walks off.

Louie
[]

Back at the homestead, Jerome and Louie are settling in for the night and Jerome asks why they couldn't stay at a hotel, and Louie states it's southern hospitality and that Jerome should make the best of it. Jerome, however, is complaining about freezing over there and Louie tells him to keep his voice down. Jerome then asks Louie how she didn't warn them of the repercussions of the crack game, and Louie states that Little Rock is not LA and gangs aren't rampant there. Jerome then tells her that regardless, she'll either get these people killed or turn them into killers. Louie then argues that not everyone who wound up in this game ended up killing, and Jerome started up on how they got in the game to get rich and wanted to know what more she needed. She didn't provide an answer and Jerome grabs his stuff, telling her he is heading to a hotel for the night and after that, back to LA.

Leon
[]

Franklin and Leon are watching the news about Fatback being arrested on the murder charge and will face a bail of 1 million dollars. Leon is non too happy about Fatback taking the fall for him. Franklin then tells Leon he'll be sure to get Roger the bail money to get him out by the night. Leon then gets a page and makes a call. He makes a call and it's Wanda, out of the hospital and sober. She is now desperate as she can't survive the homeless life as a sober person and begs Leon for help, fearing she'll wind up on the rock again if she doesn't get some help. Leon tells her he may know of a place if she is real desperate and the phone call ends.

Khadijah
[]

Khadijah is in the kitchen boiling water and mixing bleach and wood cleaner in the pot. Skully doesn't like the scent and Khadijah tells him she is making some hair stuff. Khadijah then tells Skully she'll be needing some serious money nor will she have an argument about it.

Fatback
[]

Fatback is released from jail and a female near a station wagon calls for Fatback by name. He approaches her and she claimed to have been sent by Franklin and Leon to pick him up and show him a good time. Fatback assumed at that point that he was being rewarded for his loyalty to the Family and hops into the station wagon with her. They arrive at an abandoned warehouse, and Fatback is curious on where they're going. Eureka tells him they will be meeting her homegirl there and he will be rewarded a threesome. Fatback is intrigued as he attempts to kiss Eureka, only for Khadijah to only the passenger side door and chloroform Fatback with a towel drenched with the compound she was cooking up in the kitchen. Eureka attempted to help Khadijah knock out Fatback, only to struck by Fatback. Khadijah finally manages to get Fatback out cold and Eureka snaps and Khadijah for the smell of the compound she coated her towel with.

Franklin
[]

Franklin and Tanosse are in the middle of some intimacy at Louie's and Franklin asks about Tanosse's brother and how he's doing, knowing he's been transferred. Tanosse states he is terrified and shouldn't be in such a place. Franklin does offer to help with her and her brother but she states the job at the nightclub is more than enough. She then asked about Teddy, and what his deal was. Franklin stated he was in business with the guy and he was just drunk. Franklin then gets a page and makes a phone call. He calls Roger who is at a payphone outside the bail bonds office and asked Franklin if he posted Fatbacks bail. Franklin pointed out that he gave Roger the money, but Roger states that he went to the Bail Bonds office and learned that Fatback has already made bail. Franklin is blindsided, and Roger asked if he was sure that he didn't send one of his crewmembers to set Fatback free, and Franklin tells him he didn't know Fatback was freed. Roger is then asking Franklin that if non of them bailed out Fatback, then who did.

Fatback
[]

Fatback is rudely awakened with a cigarette lighter to the head, courtesy of Eureka. He is tied and bound to a load bearing pillar and his feet are duct taped. Irritated, he threatened Eureka and Khadijah demands to know where Leon is. Fatback refuses to give up Leon and provides a smartass answer. Khadijah then draws a knife on Fatback and presses it on him. Fatback freaks out and states he doesn't know where Leon is. He then calls for help which is futile and Eureka tells him that no one can hear him. Khadijah then gives him another chance, yet Fatback refused to comply, so Khadijah drove the knife into his left arm, demanding to know where Leon is. She then pulls out the knife and Fatback warns Khadijah that he will get loose, and he'll kill her once he does. He then tells her he is sorry for what happened to her daughter, as he isn't the one who killed her, nor is he the one she wants. Khadijah is even more aggravated thinking about her child, and drives the knife into Fatbacks torso demanding to know once more where Leon is. She then stabs him again demanding an answer as he claims to not know, even Eureka is getting nervous at the site of the stabbing. She stabs him again and Eureka is starting to get woozy from seeing the stabbing. Fatback continues to proclaim he doesn't know where Leon is. Knowing Fatback won't give up Leon, Khadijah tells Fatback to say a prayer, before fatally stabbing him to death.

Candy tries to convince them to stay a little longer but Jerome is steadfast on leaving right away. Candi then tells her sister that whether she has a boy or a girl, the baby will be named 'Louie'. They say their farewells and Louie departs. Louie then hops into the vehicle with Jerome, and she finally get something off her chest to her husband that Teddy works for the CIA, and he's moving cocaine to fund a Contra war in Nicaragua, which is why Jerome had a funny feeling about him. Jerome now points out that is why Franklin was able to got off of killing Kevin, the price of cocaine being sold to them, and it would mean that Franklin is in Teddy's pocket. Louie then clarifies that they are all in his pocket. Jerome then asked Louie how long she knew, and Louie stated it was about a year, and claimed she kept it from Jerome to protect him. Jerome doesn't accept that answer as sees himself as the one in the dark on all this. Louie then warns Jerome they cannot stop this game even if they wanted to.

Teddy finally exits the office and barely walks down the stairs, and Stephen could immediately tell that Teddy looked like hell. Teddy takes a seat halfway down the steps and Stephen offers his condolences for Matt's passing and notes how he has brothers of his own and can never imagine to lose one of them. Stephen then breaks it to Teddy about the Contra forces losing ground in Nicaragua and asks if he had any word about the missing weapon shipment. Teddy shook his head. Stephen then clarified that they're checkup on Avi's personal account did not take any large deposits, meaning he did not steal from Teddy, but they need to keep supplies moving as well as reinforcements for the Contras so they could fend off any enemy advances. He then requests the operational details but Teddy states he'll take care of it. Stephen states he was just offering some help and Teddy clarifies he has this. Stephen then tells Teddy that he'll know where to find him should he change his mind and leaves. Alton agrees to help and has her sit at the desk to fill out some paperwork. Irene then appears and Alton demands that she leaves or he'll contact the police. Irene is not threatened as she stated they could learn about how Franklin's drug money is funding the shelter. That quickly caught Wanda's ears. Alton then sends his secretary away and claims Irene has made a wild accusation without proof. Irene claims she has proof of everything involving Franklin, Cissy, and everything else. She even states she knows the CIA is involved as well and Alton is in shock. Irene clarifies she is not after his father, but only those bringing in the cocaine. Alton just tells her to leave. Irene then asked Alton if this wasn't the kind of corruption the Black Panthers fought against. Alton then asked her why she is bothering him if she knew so much. Irene tells him she needs it on record from someone who is in it and needs him to tell her what he knows and she'll offer to back away from his father if he helped make this story.
