Plot Synopsis

A storm is coming and it's name is crack. Set on the rise of the crack epidemic in Los Angeles in the early 1980s and its ultimate radical impact on the culture as we know it, the story follows numerous characters on a violent collision course. It follows a young street dealer from Compton named Franklin Saint (Damson Idris), a grocery store clerk who wants to break away from the reefer game to make real money and begins peddling coke for an Isreali crimelord and later brings forth a new form of drug to his hometown; a Mexican luchador named Gustavo “El Oso” Zapata (Sergio Peris-Mencheta) who is hired for a lucky break and entering a job for a Cartel heiress only to later become an enforcer; a CIA operative named Teddy McDonald (Carter Hudson) who was recruited by a Nicaraguan national into smuggling cocaine in order to fund a secret war against the Communists; and Lucia Villanueva (Emily Rios), the daughter of a Mexican crime lord, who is looking to start her own business venture with her cousin in order to break away from the family.
