Tanosse
[]

After being exposed as Manboy's mole, Tanosse is being interrogated by Franklin and Peaches at her apartment. She started telling her side of the story about how she and her friends were at the Red Onion on her birthday which is were they ran into Drew who quickly recognized her. She stated how he knew about her past with Franklin and stated they were partners. She then explained how he re-emerged again a few weeks later with an offer for her. Franklin assumed it was to pay her to find the plug, and Tanosse stated her offered 100 grand and states she saw the money, claiming it would have changed her life. Franklin then figured out that all she had to do was get close to him once more and play him. Tanosse pointed out that was ages ago and reminded him how important she was to him until he decided to move to the next best thing. Franklin claimed he was a child back, and Tanosse stated they are no longer children and took Manboy up on his offer, which explained her appearance at Louie's nightclub on New Years Eve. She even spoke about why she fell for him in the first place so she attempted to pull out of Drew's offer. Franklin then asks how her story got them to where they were. Tanosse then explained that Manboy refused to let her off the hook and threatened to kill her and her brother, Julius, who is currently in prison. She then told them how Manboy gave the word to his boys inside to beat Julius to an inch of his life, but not kill him. She then asked Franklin what she was supposed to do and Franklin stated she should have came to him and told him the truth. Tanosse then asked if he would have let the betrayal slide had she told him why she reappeared in his life, citing how merciless he has been to folks who crossed him. Franklin makes it clear they would never know. Instead of reaching for his weapon, he checks his pager and makes a phone call. He tells the other person to 'keep him there'. He gets the car keys from Peaches, orders him to keep an eye on Tanosse, and leaves the apartment.

Franklin
[]

Franklin is now in the Projects with Leon and sees an enraged Jerome arrive with an MP5 in hand, who is demanding to know why Franklin is there. Leon states he paged him, and Jerome walks up to his nephew, daring him to man up. Franklin tells Jerome that he wants to people who almost killed Louie as much as he does but they have to play it smart. Jerome is getting impatient with Franklin as Renny and a few other arrive with a duffel bag full of weapons. Franklin then clarifies that Manboy knows about the drive-by and knows how Jerome would act, explaining he would be waiting for his retaliation with an army armed to the teeth. He states they will not hesitate to kill him and everyone dumb enough to follow him. Jerome tells Franklin he's been wrong at every turn and he is finished answering to him. As he checks the weapons in the bag, Franklin alerts him that Tanosse has been snitching to Manboy then entire time and played them the entire time. Jerome then asks Franklin how it feels to be played for a fool. Franklin then explains that now they have Tanosse in their grip, she could be used to give Manboy bad information and get the drop on him before he realizes it as well as get payback for putting Louie in the hospital. Jerome refuses to hear out Franklin and gives Leon the MP5, telling him it's time to go. As Jerome approaches his vehicle, Franklin steps in front of the car and explains to Jerome he can't allow him to go through with it. Jerome tells him he has 2 seconds to get out of his way and instead Franklin raises his fists and mans up, telling Jerome if they is what he wanted, he should make his move. Jerome agrees and Leon tries to calm them down but Jerome tells him to stay out of it. Franklin then attempts to take a swing at Jerome only to get a left jab and a right straight from him. Franklin then lands on the vehicle and Jerome asks if he still wants to go. Franklin gets back up, tosses his pager, and Jerome throws a left hook which Franklin dodges. Franklin then manages to land a right straight on Jerome who was unaffected by the hit. Jerome then delivers a right hook to Franklin's torso, hitting an old gunshot wound he received from Melody. Jerome then demands Franklin stays down, but instead Franklin gets up once more and attempts to swing a haymaker, which Jerome ducks and counters Franklin by slamming him back into the car. Franklin is now injured and spitting out blood. He then gives Jerome a dire warning that Cissy and Louie will hear about what he will have to do to stop him from making a big mistake and dares him to continue the fight. Jerome finally cools down and calls his nephew stubborn.

Jerome
[]

The Family is now at Tanosse's place in the morning. Jerome is still fuming over her betrayal knowing his wife trusted her and Tanosse apologizes for what happened, then clarified the drive-by was Khadijah's doing and Manboy had no role in it. Franklin clarifies to her that they were already informed and she explains she didn't provide information that would put them at risk. Jerome then turns his Uzi on Tanosse and orders her to call Manboy.

Manboy
[]

At the barbershop, Manboy is beating Dimehead at a game of dominos and Dimehead is accusing him of cheating. Manboy then calls him out for being a sore loser and gets a page from Tanosse. He heads to the phone to make the call and Tanosse has told him the Franklin has agreed to take him to the plug. Manboy then reminds her she already told him that, and Tanosse clarifies he himself will personally take Manboy to meet the connect. Manboy is then curious to know how Tanosse was able to pull it off. Tanosse then told her she just got it done as he asked. Manboy further questions her, after waiting for months to get the plug, what changed in the process. Tanosse claimed it was Louie getting shot at Fatback's funeral. Tanosse then spoke about how Franklin had to make a choice between going to war and risk getting more people killed or get back to business and introduce him to the plug, claiming he's in it for money and business. Manboy then asked how Jerome will react to it. Tanosse then stated their was a conflict between him and his nephew and claimed Jerome wasn't looking to go to war, either. Manboy then asked where Franklin wants to meet, and Tanosse tells him it will be under a bridge by some arches, stating he would know the area. Manboy states he knows the area and requests her to inform Franklin that he and his crew will be over there waiting for him.

Irene
[]

Irene is at the CO-INTELPRO radio station with Alton and spikes her coffee with some whiskey, even the radio host, Brother Jamal, notices it. Alton checks on her, after she was drugged with a sedative by Teddy and Gustavo, and she says she is good to go. They are now on the air and Brother Jamal introduces to his listeners Irene, the writer of the article. Irene then stated that what he read was 1 of 3 parts of the article she intended to write, however, she informed him and his listeners that the CIA got the second article halted and got her fired from the Herald Examiner. Brother Jamal points out to her that is when she is on to something and even though they can't drop the article for her but asks her what she wants his listeners to hear. Irene then stated she had hard proof of the players involved in the article as well as the real name and alias of the CIA agent involved at the heart of this operation. She then clarifies that unlike the U.S. Government, she is not interested in getting Americans killed. She then states that the CIA knows they're exposed in this and threatens to reappear on the radio show and give the listeners the agents real name should the CIA's top brass not acknowledge what is happening or make an internal investigation into this scandal. She then clarifies that what is happening in their communities is an utter travesty and she refuses to rest until someone is held accountable. Elsewhere, at the warehouse, Teddy and Gustavo are listening to the radio and Teddy trashes the radio, knowing the home invasion didn't stop Irene.

Tanosse
[]

As Tanosse is writing in his diary at her apartment, there is a knock on the door and it's Manboy calling for her. She answers the door and asked Manboy what he's doing there. She then pointed out that Franklin is probably waiting on him. Manboy then grabbed Tanosse by the throat and accused her of setting him up. Tanosse denies it but Manboy makes it clear he isn't a fool as he throws her to the ground. Manboy pulls out his pistol and Tanosse attempts to crawl away from him, only to be grabbed by her feet. He then made it clear he was going to kill her and have her brother offed in prison. Tanosse then pulls out a knife and stabs him in the side of his ribs. She then crawls further away and Manboy gets up. As Manboy turns his pistol on her, he is then shot down by Franklin who is in the apartment with Leon. Outside in a vehicle, Dimehead and the other guys hear the gunshots and assumed Manboy killed her, only to be shot up with Uzi's by Jerome and Peaches. In the apartment, a severely wounded Manboy attempts to crawl for his gun and Franklin stops him by placing the base of his cane on Manboy's palm. He has Manboy roll on his stomach, and when Tanosse attempts to leave the apartment, Jerome enters and stops her. Jerome then tells Franklin they are clear outside. Manboy, who is bleeding out asks Franklin how he knew he was going to be there. Franklin told Drew he was always smart, but not as smart as he though he was. As he is slowing succumbing to his wounds, he begins to mock and insult each and every one of them. He then told Leon how his sister butchered Fatback and he did nothing about it. Franklin then fired 2 more shots into Manboy, who is still alive. Manboy warned Franklin that he won't be able to get out of this, and he shouldn't expect the people around him to turn on him. Jerome has heard enough and tells Franklin to just finish him off so they can leave. Manboy then dares him to finish him off, and as he was preparing to further insult him, Franklin raised his gun and shot him in the neck, giving him a few seconds until he died. Franklin then states he always talked to much. He then turns to Tanosse, wipes the prints off of his gun using her robe, hands her the gun and told her to call the police to report a robbery as part of a cover story, and to tell them she stabbed him and shot him. Louie then advised them to call Black Diamond and Dallas and offer them more than what Khadijah is offering. Outside the room, Franklin tells Jerome that Louie is right, seeing how bounty hunters are more loyal to the highest bidder. Jerome reminds him that they are the reason Louie was in the hospital in the first place.
