As Dimehead lit up a cigarette, Peaches ordered him to put it out for it would give away their position. Dimehead does but tells Peaches to shut up and Peaches orders him to calm down. Dimehead claims he is yet he is behaving very rashly. Peaches exits the container and heads to the other one. Jerome opens up to let him know that Skully is running late, and Peaches assures him he will be there. He then approaches Franklin and Lurp with Rob watching the van and asked if they are ready. Franklin says he is. Peaches then returns back to his container, alerting the others that they be ready real shortly and once again orders Dimehead put out the cigarette as he closes the door.

Skully
[]

During the ride to the meet, or so they believe, Skully is in the passenger seat loading the Dragunov Franklin presented him while Cornrows is at the wheel. Cornrows asked where he found bullets for that, and Skully tells him he bought them from an ammo store and wound up paying double since they were brought back from Viet Nam. He turns up the radio and uses his special ear drops for his ears. Cornrows shows he doesn't like the idea of Skully getting a buzz while approaching what could be a possible set up. Skully then states he needed to be tuned in so that he can see the signs. Cornrows, still driving claims he could the signs without those eardrops. They pull up toward the warehouse entrance to see Franklin and Lurp awaiting them. Skully then orders Cornrows to stop the vehicle as they are entering the warehouse. Cornrows notices he is out of his mind as he pulls over. Skully, with the Dragunov in hand claims he is seeing signs as he exits the car. He then asks his boys if they are feeling the vibes. Cornrows is confused and finding Skully to be out of his mind, even Franklin and Lurp can see and hear his behavior. Skully is now causing a massive scene, shooting his mouth off about seeing roaches, making the ambushers nervous. Franklin, seeing that Skully has completely lost it, asks Skully if they're good. Skully has gone haywire demanding to see more roaching as he fires his sniper rifle at a light fixture. Dimehead then jumps out of the container, disobeying Peaches orders, and fires his Uzi in the direction of the Bloods, causing everyone to run out and begin firing. Franklin stumbles but Lurp manages to recover him. Now there is a firefight at the warehouse with people from both sides getting shot and killed.

Louie
[]

The nightclub is closed and Louie, who is worried, is checking her watch and drinking. Someone arrives and Louie jumps up to see who it was. Franklin, Rob, and Lurp return after a failed ambush. Louie is then demanding to know where Jerome is and she could not get a straight answer from either Rob nor Lurp. Franklin then picked up his phone, called someone and started explaining how Skully went nuts at the warehouse and fired a shot, which cause everyone to react with gunfire, stating they whacked a few Bloods but had to punch the clock. Jerome returns to the club with Peaches, who is wounded from the failed ambush. Peaches was placed in the chair to have his gunshot wound examined. When asked what happened, he explained that Dimehead reacted to the gunshot and blew their cover. Franklin then asked if Skully is dead, but Peaches couldn't give a straight answer, stating Manboy may have offed him, just as Jerome attempts to clean Peaches wound with a wash cloth and a bottle of vodka. Franklin is now demanding to know whether or not Skully got hit in the gunfight. Jerome and Peaches are now telling them to talk to Manboy and Franklin explained he already paged him. Franklin is losing it, telling his boys they need to assume a few of the Bloods, including Skully, may have survived. Peaches then suggests going to Skully's domain to hit him once more without giving them time to regroup. Franklin reminds Peaches he's been wounded and Peaches is very adamant about finishing off Skully regardless. Louie then points out the Family doesn't have enough soldiers and reminds him that they're not in Viet Nam. Franklin then tells everyone they are not heading back there. Franklin then requested Rob to patches up Peaches and return home. Franklin then asks Jerome and Louie to follow him out. Louie tosses a cloth for Peaches to help stop the bleeding and she follows Franklin and Jerome out.

Jerome

Jerome and Louie drop Franklin off at his home. He hops up and heads into Cissy's place. Louie suggests heading in there as well, but Jerome is refusing to do so. Louie then asks if he is alright. Jerome then states he shot one of them in the head and watched the guy drop dead.

Franklin
[]

They are not in agreeance with Franklin as he makes his case that with the enemies he made, they can't stay at home, fearing Skully could go after them. Cissy then asks how long they must lay low, and Franklin couldn't give a precise answer. Alton then made it clear they aren't running anywhere. Franklin is then infuriated that Cissy and Alton is turning down his offer of solace as they pointed out he brought the danger to them. Cissy then states her point that they will not be running anywhere period and demands Franklin to fix the mess he caused. Franklin then exits the house disappointed. He enters the vehicle and Jerome could tell he failed to convince his parents to leave. Franklin then tells Jerome to get him to a payphone because he wants to know whether Skully is dead or not.

Leon
[]

At Leon's place, Fatback brings Leon 2 bricks of coke and stated that is all they had. Leon is shocked to see supplies dwindling, but Fatback assures him that business is good. Leon then receives a page from Franklin and decided not to answer his page. Fatback then suggested hitting Franklin's plug. Leon then states he would not do business with people like that and demanded him to shut up about it. C.J. then steps in and says he has a cousin who is connected to the Mexicans. Fatback doesn't agree with the idea but C.J. states it would be worth the try if they made the call.

Franklin
[]

Franklin is now at Tanosse's place with Jerome and Louise waiting in the car. He knocks on her door and she invites him inside. He discusses the situation from the failed ambush, still wandering if Skully is dead or alive. He then pointed out her connection to Inglewood back in the day and requested if she could ask around about Skully. Tanosse tells him that doing that after bamboozling an ambush ain't gonna look good for her. Tanosse points out that one of the Bloods Baby Mama's is a dancer for the Lucky Lounge and might be able to reach out to her without raising suspicions. Franklin is now exhausted and suggested it's time to head off, but Tanosse offers him a play to crash for the night. Franklin agrees to her offers and sleeps on the couch, requesting she does not tell anyone he's there. He wakes up the next to see Tanosse going through her clothes on her rack. Franklin then looks for his pager and asks Tanosse if she saw it. Tanosse tells him it is on the table and has gone off all morning. Franklin checks his pager and then asks Tanosse if she heard a word from her Inglewood connections yet, in which she shakes her head. Franklin then asks if he could use her phone and she points him to the phone. Franklin then remind her that he owes her as he approaches the phone, hearing Tanosse state she plans to collect.

Fatback
[]

Later that day, Franklin contacts Fatback on whether or not they heard about Skully possibly surviving the shootout or not. Fatback told Franklin he knew nothing and Franklin told them that regardless, the boys at the Projects will need to watch their backs. The call ends and Leon reminded Fatback that he warned Franklin about getting involved in that mess.

Hernan
[]

A birthday party is being held and Hernan calls for everyone's attention in the backyard. He then calls for his son, Cedro, who is now turning 6 and dressed in wrestling attire. Everyone hears a bunch of roaring and Hernan asks his son if he can hear that. They hear more growling and Hernan tells his child that El Oso is coming for him. Gustavo then goes through a back curtain in full luchador attire and Cedro growls back at him. Everyone chants Oso's name as he gives people high fives and picks up Cedro, placing him in the wrestling ring. Oso hops in the ring and they put on a small show for the kids and the guest as Oso faints a trip from Cedro's leg sweep and allows Cedro to grab his arm for a submission. Gustavo then later raises Cedro's arm in victory and gives the birthday boy a shoutout.

Franklin
[]

Franklin and his crew leadership are awaiting Manboy in a parking lot near the overpass. He lets his crew know that Manboy needs them more than they need him and would not be stupid enough to go to war with them. Manboy and Dimehead arrive and Manboy scolds Franklin about his plan going to Hell. Lurp then points out that Dimehead screwed up the ambush and Dimehead quickly gets offended. Manboy holds Dimehead back and states to the others that despite the plan going to Hell, he was able to shoot Skully and brags about how he was able to drop more Bloods than the Family did. Franklin then requests assurances from Manboy that Skully is dead. Manboy states he is and claims to have shot him himself. Franklin is very uncertain that Manboy finished the job and Manboy asks if Franklin is good or if he is still shaken from the gunfight. Franklin states that everything's fine. Manboy and Dimehead prepare to take off, and Manboy repeats Franklin final words back as he hops in his car and rides off. Franklin and his crew then return back to their vehicle.

Alton
[]

Alton returns home later that night and finds Cissy on the table praying. He then approaches her and kisses her on the top of the head. As Alton heads into the living room, Cissy tells him there was a gang shooting in San Pedro resulting in 6 deaths, she then picks up the newspaper and hands it to Alton, letting him know that it was Franklin's doing. Alton then told his wife that heard about the news at the Edgewood Shelter and learned of the tinderbox going off between Compton and Inglewood, and the rock is the center of this war. Alton then asks about the deal she is attempting to strike with Paul Davis, and Cissy states that he is not an easy man to convince. Alton then pointed out that her plan wouldn't profit him. Cissy then hops up and heads to her phone.

Teddy
[]

Gustavo, Teddy, and Hernan are at the Tijuana police station discussing a possible deal with Chief Fuentes. They offer him $10,000 on a weekly basis and points out that is double what they offered Cala. Oscar then states he knows how many kilos they were moving per truck and the going rate of cocaine. Teddy then reminded Chief Fuentes that he asked them for a number and gave him a number and then asked what else he had in mind. Oscar dropped them a price of $100,000 a week. Teddy calls it highway robbery and urges him to look the other direction and Oscar states that turning his head isn't cheap. Teddy is then wanting to meet halfway and Oscar is steadfast on 100 grand weekly. Oscar then asked Hernan about what happened with his legs, and Hernan tells him it was from a gunshot that clipped him spinal chord. He then asked who shot him, and Hernan asks why it matters to him. Oscar then further asked if the shooting was accidental or if he had enemies, and Hernan states the shooting was not random. Oscar then asked Hernan if he ever wondered what would happen if he made peace with his enemies. Teddy then states to Fuentes that he may be able to get 50k approved by the people he answers to but would need a few days to get the green light. Fuentes agrees and allows Teddy a few days of breathing room as Teddy, Oso, and Hernan leave.

Franklin
[]

Back at Louie's, Tanosse gives Franklin, Jerome, and Louise the low down through her connections, she learned Skully was shot but survived. This comes to a shock to the Family knowing they will have to deal with the blowback. Franklin thanks her for the information but realizes that his neighborhood may be in jeopardy.

Skully
[]

Skully is back home alive but reeling from the gunshot wound in his right arm. Cornrows is concerned that Skully is getting over his head dropping his special ear drops on the gunshot wound. Skully states he doesn't need a doctor and demands his knife. One of his crew members brings him a butter knife and he uses it to dig the bullet out, which causes him to bleed some more. The pain becomes intense and demands the whiskey. A crew member brings him a bottle of whiskey which he drinks and pours upon his wound, causing a stinging feeling for him. A crew member asks if he is good and Skully snaps at the member, knowing he was nearly offed in the set up. He then orders Cornrows and his boys to find Franklin Saint. As Cornrows and the others exits, Skully contemplates crucifying Franklin, but changes his mind and declares he will stone him to death.

Franklin
[]

At the club, Franklin declares there will be more cocaine for anyone connected to Skully, starve out Inglewood, and let Manboy finish off Skully. Franklin then asks how they are doing for security and Lurp tells him they are arriving from Oakland in a days time. He even pointed out Peaches still healing yet he wants to ride in Inglewood to finish off Skully. Franklin of course finishes that sentence and reminds the Family that they aren't ready yet. He tells Lurp they will talk about an offense as soon as the reinforcements arrive from Oakland. He then gets a page from Nix and lets the Family know. Jerome then points out Nix has been hitting him, too, demanding his weekly payments. Jerome then states there are bigger problems that him and Franklin tells them to call him and set up a meet. He then exits the office with Lurp. Franklin and Jerome later meet in a freight yard with Nix. Franklin with an envelop in hand then asked Nix if he learned of the San Pedro shootout, which Nix has, and Franklin offers up the players in the shooting and the gun that did most of the killing, all he has to do is clean them out. Franklin even pointed out to Nix that it would be a high-profile bust that would make the front page and find it's way to the evening news. Nix then asked how it would benefit Franklin, who then makes it clear the people he will be sending Nix after are bad for business and want them out of the equation. When asked of their location, Franklin pointed him to Inglewood. Nix then stated that wasn't his area or his division. Franklin then suggested getting some of his LAPD friends who are in that division to get involved and offers a bonus for 10 grand per officer. Nix then ups it to 20 and he'll look into it. Franklin agrees, hands over the payments, but makes it clear that the job must be done within 48 hours or no bonus. Nix then takes off with his payment.

Irene
[]

Irene is at the bar going over her notes and Wilson appears. She signals the bar tender that someone has joined her. Wilson tells her it's not noon yet and Irene states she has been in the bar all day and asked what he had for her. He then brings up the father, and pointed out how difficult it was to discover him since his last name was different from the others. Wilson then dropped Alton William's name and pointed out how Cissy must have went back to her maiden name, Saint. Apparently they are speaking of Franklin's family, seeing how Franklin would stick with his mother's maiden name. Irene then asks about the relationship between Franklin and Alton and Wilson doesn't have an answer. Irene then tells Wilson he should take a drink for every time he says he doesn't know. He then asks how he should know and asks if he needs to stake out the home. Irene then signals him to drinks. Wilson then picks up the glass, sniffs it and asks if that is whiskey. Irene tells him to just drink, which he does, and she brings up Jerome who owns Jammin' Jerome's and Cissy who runs the real estate company, but asks about the father. Wilson tells her he runs the Edgewood Shelter which is for homeless folks and recovering addicts. Irene finds it odd that Franklin is a drug dealer and Alton runs a homeless shelter. She asked what was up with that and when Wilson was about to finish an 'I don't know', Irene signals him to drink, which he realized he walked into that trap and drank the whiskey. Irene then asked if there would court records, city filings, or arrest records for any of them. Wilson then pulls out a file consisting of what he could find, including a lawsuit against the LAPD but very little on Franklin Saint. He then pointed out how he attempted a financial 360 but nothing much there except for Cissy. He pointed out that for a time she was broke and the bank was about to foreclose on her house, but starts running a company worth a couple million dollars. Irene then requested Wilson to trace the money, but Wilson states he already tried that and discovered there was a bunch of corporations listed. Irene then asked if any of those corporations were in the States and Wilson stated some of them were not. She then asked what kind of 21 year old kid is in charge of an off shore company. She then asks Wilson if he tracked down any directors or shareholders for those companies. Wilson was speechless and Irene signaled him to drink which he does. After a few drinks, Wilson points out that he won't be able to drive. Irene then tells Wilson to keep digging into Franklin and his offshore accounts and she will deal with Alton. Wilson then asked if Joanna OK'd all this and Irene gave a faint yes as she finished her drink and walked away.

Gustavo
[]

Gustavo and Teddy are loading up the bricks at the warehouse and Teddy states they need to make one payment to Fuentes just to hold him off and his contacts should get a hold of him within a days time. Teddy then suggests to Oso they maybe they don't need to be in the cocaine business after all and jokes about dressing Oso up in his wrestling attire to entertain guests at birthdays and bar mitzvahs. Gustavo laughs at his pun. Teddy continues his pun as Oso grabs his duffel bag and leave.

C.J.
[]

Leon, Fatback, and C.J. arrive in a remote area to do a possible deal with a Mexican gang. Leon and Fatback don't like the idea of dealing in a neighborhood they aren't familiar with, let alone with folks they aren't friendly with. C.J. then tells the guys that they are at the right location according to his cousin and they exit. The alleyway for the deal is too dark to see and Leon believes C.J. has been played by his family. They see headlights flip on in the dark alley and C.J. points them out. Leon then orders C.J. to go talk to them and bring them over. C.J. is hesitant about it and Fatback reminds him this meet was his idea. C.J. is slowing walking into the alleyway and hears a bunch of coyote howls. He then hears gun clicks and sees the men approaching realizing he was set up and the guys quickly jump back into the vehicle as the gangbangers make their way into the light. As they drive off, Leon and Fatback scold C.J. for almost getting them killed. With their options shot, Leon suggested cutting the bricks they have and Fatback disagrees as they have already done. Leon lays his foot down as they need to continue finding a way to survive without Franklin.

Nix
[]

Nix arrives at the Bottoms in Inglewood with Officers Zinn and Rusk to scope out their stronghold. They see the place well guarded and don't like the idea of busting in there and Nix points out the place is crawling with cash, rocks, and shooters from the San Pedro gunfight. Zinn then points out the obvious, they have folks all over the block as watchers and the trucks are used as stoppers to ram anyone that tries to get close to them. Both Zinn and Rusk want nothing to do with dealing with Bottoms and tell Nix not to bother them about it again. Zinn then suggested they can kill themselves off as he drives away.

Alton
[]

Alton is going over the schedule and rules with the Baxter's and asks John if the mother of his children is around. John tells him them the mother isn't there and won't be expected right away but she will return. Alton then points that it happens a lot there and lets John know that he, his son Dwayne, and his infant daughter are welcome there anytime. He then tells the family that they have 3 meals a day and offers some food. John is gracious to the offer. Alton then hops up to get them some food and is approached by Irene. She introduces herself and states her reasons for being there and Alton tells her that it is not a good time for an interview. Irene then told Alton she was at Berkeley in 1968 and asked if he knew Fred Hampton. Alton states he knew him before he went to Chicago. Irene then asked if she and Alton have ever met, but Alton states he would have remembered. Irene then grabs her calling card and points out how she grew up in Crenshaw and saw some changes to her neighborhood and offers to help. Alton thanks her and she heads off.

Irene
[]

Irene is now in her vehicle outside the shelter and sees Nix arriving there, curious to know why he is entering the Edgewood Shelter.

Alton
[]

As Alton is catering to the Baxter's, Nix appears and Alton greets him. Nix asks if he is running the shelter, which Alton answers yes. Nix then asks how someone like him who is running a local homeless shelter wound up with a murderer for a child. He then told Alton he was going to tell Franklin this directly, but would see him getting the message more clearly if he went to Alton, and demands Alton to give Franklin a message to double his weekly take and that should he ever set him up again, he won't be the only one getting hurt. Alton then tells him he can deliver his own message to Franklin and orders him to leave. Nix then pulls out his nightstick and sees a pattern between Alton and Franklin, noting he would not hesitate to go off on him. Some of the residence attempt to step but Alton holds them back. Irene then enters and the chaos comes to a close as Nix walks out. Irene asked what that was all about and Alton states he had no clue. Irene then pointed out that she knows him and he's one of the worst ones, plus the fact that the more that he and Edgewood are known, the harder it will be for Nix to harass him. Irene then offers to do short piece on him. Alton then asked if Irene truly knew Fred Hampton. Irene states she did as well as Lil' Bobby Hutton. Alton remembers him, dead at 18, shot 12 times, and Irene pointed out he was surrendering. Irene then asked if Alton wanted to continue testing her or want to talk for a bit. Alton agrees and invites her further inside.

Franklin
[]

At the house Alton tells Franklin about his encounter with Nix and Franklin decides he needs to take care of things with Nix. Cissy then offers a better way, speaking about a tycoon named Paul Davis who outbid them on properties in Van Ness and Vermont Harbor. She also points out that he has some influence with the police commissioner, the city council, and is raising funds for Mayor Bradley. She also pointed out that they made a very big contribution. Alton then states that Davis is as dirty as they come, and Cissy points that he is clean enough to sit next to the Mayor. Cissy then points out to Franklin that his way is no longer working and it's time to switch it up.

Gustavo
[]

Gustavo returns to Hernan's home and discovers his front door open. He then knocks and calls for Hernan. Oso then enters the house and calls for Hernan and Nuvia while hearing the tea kettle whistling. Oso then discovers Hernan in the kitchen knocked out of his wheelchair with a stake knife in his chest and Nuvia lying next to him with her throat slit. There is also a writing in blood on the floor saying $100,000. Gustavo then realized this was Fuentes' doing. Oso calls for the boys, Ernesto, Cedro, and Carlo, hoping they weren't harmed, and searches the entire house for them only to see them gone.
